Or perhaps not.

If you asked me about things like cars, housing issues, insurances policies, CPFs, current affairs, general knowledge, etc, I would say I don't know a single f***-ing thing. I will not touch issues or problems that do not concern the present me. Yes, we should always think or plan for the future, but I really dunno why I have no interests in such stuff until the day when I needed them. The bad thing for me is I could never initiate a conversation that adults could really talk about.

However, when comes to things when I am familiar with, I could then again tell you I only know those on a superficial level. I will read up more things that I am interested in, but when you asked me more in depth, I will then realized that how a whole forest look like, but not how a single tree looks like.

I was once asked this question recently.

Someone: "So what do you want to do if you could come back to this company one day?"
Me: "Dunno, I like creating games, I like animation. So I really dunno."
Someone: "Ok, you have to choose one."
Me: "Game or Animation Artist then, since I like to draw the most."
Someone: "So what kind of artist?"
Me: "Dunno, feel like trying everything."
Someone: "I think you better think properly first."

I always thought drawing itself is already quite a specialization. I never would I be expected that artist could also be divided into such specialized fields. For example, concept art, texture art, lighting art, etc. Well, it may not be the case when you are working in smaller companies. I always enjoy drawing stuff, scenery or character as a whole, but never actually thought of drawing only one part.

I not even sure being someone who is interested in the whole thing could be so bad. Suddenly, I think I have lost my way. I always like to feel being involved in everything that I'm interested in.

Games? Yes, I like to design, program, and even music.
Videos? Yes, I like to help in the story, film and edit.
Animation? Yes, I like to draw, animate and composite.

Now I could only narrow down to design and draw... And it could even broken down into concept, features, textures, movement, blah, blah, blah. I really dunno what to choose if you ask me to choose one...
