I have decided to put a stop to my design of characters for PI. After getting to know my friend from ADM (Arts, Design and Media from NTU), I am more determined to buy one drawing tablet for myself and upgrade my digital drawing skill before I can continue. I was looking through his online portfolio and was really amazed by his collection. They really did many stuff that I always dream of doing it. I thought I am glad to enter SoC, but after seeing what my friend has achieved, I'm kinda regretted...
In fact, not only my digital drawing skill, but I think sketching has begun to drop out from the list of my personal talents. I know I have been stuck at the same level. Then I keep receiving encouragement from my peeps saying my level is good enough. I know I'm definitely not good, but this encouragement had sort of giving me complacent not to move to another level. I really need a friendly rival to pull me up... Well, hope I can learn a lot of things from my friend in this internship.
And the PC Show is just around the corner!! I am going to grab my very first drawing tablet (or maybe iPod Touch too, but that thing is really damn costly...)!!! Here I come!!!
