Game Review: レイトン教授と最後の時間旅行

Translated Title: Professor Layton and the Final Journey Through Time.

I love this game very much! The story and the gameplay were excellent! Not forgetting the Anime Cutscenes!!! I just simply love games with Anime Cutscenes.

So far, these are the other game series I'm currently hooked, and I will devote myself into complete every aspect in the game.
1. Ryuusei no Rockman Series(1 - 3)
2. Akumajo Dracula DS Series (1 - 3)
3. Gyakuten Saiban Series(1 - 4, and One Spin-off Title)
NEW. Layton Kyoju Series (Season 1: 1 - 3, and there will be Season 2: 4 - 6)

I played the English Version of Layton's First Installment, Professor Layton and the Curious Village, and I realised I like it very much. I knew there are Second and Third Installments, but I never heard it whether will there be English Version coming out. So, I stopped for more than a year before I saw the Chinese Versions for 2nd and 3rd are out! So I tried playing it, and was deeply in love with the game since the voiceovers are in original Japanese. Haha!

The stories and the puzzles were really amazing. It is not surprising to see how creative Japanese can be when creating such games and story plots. Those who have NDS should try!!! The English Version of 2nd Layton Game, Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box has just been released! Those who prefer English Version should also go try, and work that rusty brains of yours! The puzzles are really fun and interesting!

Another factor I love this game is because of the voice castors!!! Oops. I try not to be get so carried away...

Mini Post 6: Mugging is the Way of Life

OK! Well, it's been a very busy 2 weeks for me.
And I thought I can have a breather for my recess week...

WRONG!

There are still tons of work to be done!
Although I feel very tired right now,
I will still cerish this last 4 years of studying.
Before stepping into the cruel world of working in a competitve society.
Otherwise, I would not have anymore chance to enjoy the joy of studying.

Summaries of Events

These are what I did other than mugging in school... :

Event 1 Song Guan's Farewell Dinner

One of his dear classmates from secondary school, Nian Hua took the effort to organise a farewell dinner for him on Saturday Night at Miss U Cafe. It was the first I ever knew the existence of that particular place. Sorry, because I never had good impression around that area... However, the restaurant has a good setting and food there tastes really fantastic, and the portion of the food is very big!

Special Guest: Ms Ho Ping Ping

Nian Hua even thought of some games to make Song Guan hugged JingJing! Haha. After our meal, we played the Ultimate Deadly Number (commonly known as Zong Ji Mi Ma). Thanks to Yvonne, who sat beside me, called the number which will trap me... So I got it twice... The first time, I have to kiss Zilin's hands... Second time, even worse, I have to kiss Jun Long!!! Ok, on the forehead. Phew. Luckily, Ms Ho came up with a number which she knew would definitely caught Nian Hua! Haha, he really kissed Joey!!! Poor Joey, he nearly vomitted.

The next game was the Chaining Chinese Idiom Game (commonly known as Cheng Yu Jie Long). Russell and Joey were stunned! Because they think their Chinese were extremely poor. Well, in the end, Joey lost and he had to drink the Pepper Water made by Ms Ho...

There are some things in the dinner which I don't think is nice to mention over there. But I think those who attended it should know what I'm talking about!!! Haha.

On Monday morning, a very early morning, as early as 6am, Pok Yen, Yi Sheng, Wei Tian and I went to Changi Airport T3 to send Song Guan off. All the best to him!

Event 2 A "Stuff"-y Buffet

By the word stuffy does not mean that the place where we had our dinner was hot and stuffy. Is just that Derek had my stomach stuffed with lots of food...

Derek was dying to see us, so he arranged a dinner on Sunday Dinner with us at Marina Square, also to celebrate Luvena's and Fang Qi's Birthdays. I was super late because I was quite desperate to complete my homework. When I finally reached Suki-ya, I saw my very first Japanese Teacher, Kuriyama-Sensei! I was quite loss for words, and I'm not sure whether to communicate with her using Japanese... In the end, I used English... Haha. She asked me whether I'm having dinner with Fang Qi... Haha, she still thinks that both of us were a couple... After a-less-than-one-minute-conversation, I went in first while she and her friend were still queuing for it.

I shared one pot with Derek, while the 2 girls shared another beside us. Thanks to Derek, he stopped eating at the very wrong moment and there were still a lot of meat left!!! How can he expect me to finish everything?! But in the end, I really brought my limit of my stomach to the max. Moreover, I have to finish a slice of cake with Luvena since I have already promised her when we were eating halfway through...

After I got home that night, I continued to do my homework, and I was able to complete it at 3am... I could only sleep for 2 hours because I have to send Song Guan off the next morning...

In the end, during Monday afternoon, after my CS1105 lecture, I started to feel unwell. I became feverish after I struggled through my English Lesson... I started to wonder if the fever has anything to do with stuffing my weak stomach with lots of food...

Event 3 Bringing Fever to a Birthday Celebration

After my English Lesson, I felt extremely unwell. I still managed to make my way to Ion Orchard, and that place was damn damn damn cold... I met up with Potato, Kai Yan and Meng Yong before meeting Ming Jie and MSG Eva and her family. I didn't expect the restaurant we decided to go is very popular. It might take us around an hour to get seats!!! Sadly, we went around the mall, and went to Sakae Sushi at Wheelock Place instead. I felt so sad when things aren't going according to plan. Sigh. But I still glad that MSG Eva had a great time with us.

Instead of buying her a cake, Ming Jie bought MSG Eva Apple Srundel as her Birthday Cake. But in the end, when footing the bill, MSG Eva paid first... and she only required us to pay her less than what we have eaten...

After I went off with Kai Yan, and when I was on MRT, my fever has completely taken over my body... I was shivering like mad... Hope my virus would not spread to MSG Eva and her family...

The Enemy in the University

It's been a while since I wrote my previous entry. Yes, the main reason is that University Life is really happening. There is a sudden flow of homework and projects running into your workload... And you can't even catch a single breath before the next one comes in. Well, it may sounds terrible here, but it is the actual fact of being a Uni student. Our objective is to manage our time well and to fulfil all the tasks that are given to us...

Other than having lots of homework to do, you still to have some time to chill out with friends, CCAs and probably housechores. Well, I could say that I'm enjoying my time so far, and I could not complain since this is the life I'm expecting and the kind of life I have chosen. For now, my greatest enemy is the homework!!! I need to finish them!!!

Last night, I had only 2 hours of sleep because doing the Java Assignment which needs to be done by today (7/9/2009, 2359H). Although my Monday lesson starts at 10am, I have to get up at 5.30am to send off Song Guan at the Airport... I still feel alright this morning, but I started to feel sick as noon approaches (Even now, I still feeling sick... Later at night, I'm still meeting my friends...). So a piece of advice: Don't stay up too late unless it is a real emergency!!! Haha.
