CSC Gathering @ Kenny Rogers

A few days ago , I was chatting with Wee Khiang to check he is free on Labour Day since Kai Yan wanted to hunt for the shoes that he eyed for a few months at Far East. However, he was not able to make it as he will be having a family gathering. Therefore, he wanted me to arrange for another day since he has not been able to make it for most of the gatherings. I thought through quite some time while chatting with him and suggested Wednesday Night, which is today, and I thought it was not a bad day either since the next day is a public holiday. Moreover, almost everyone was able to make it except for Darrell who will be doing duty... Again. And so, I told Wee Khiang to make it free on that night tentatively, but he said that he may be sailing. Then again, I thought since he will be going for his family gathering on Thursday, maybe he could make it for that night, and I SMSed everyone yesterday and the rest said that they could make it, but no reply came from Wee Khiang...

Ming Jie was told to sail last minute for my team, and so he was not able to make it for the gathering either. Poor thing. He has been activated last night and today was called to sail again for another 3 days, and he has scheduled for a duty on Saturday... Oh Dear, it will be going to be extremely tiring for him.

Today I went back camp to attend ANOTHER talk. This time, it was different as Larry is presenting in the talk. As a junior, I must show my support! After that, I went home with Alvin Koh in the afternoon, and we met Wee Liang and Ajay in the bus, and so we went home together. Other than Alvin, Potato and me; Cheong Guan, Meng Yong, Junyan, and Kai Yan are still working back in the camp. They met up at the canteen before heading to Suntec City to meet the 3 of us. Kai Yan was the latest as he has a lot of work to do, and we have to wait for him until 6pm...

The 3 of us reached Suntec City early to look for a place to settle down, and we decided on Kenny Rogers. We waited till 7.30pm before we finally sat down to have our dinner. We had another really nice chat. We talked about our lives so far, and the coming hectic schedule, and the coming OJTs, etc. We talked so much, and Kai Yan ate so much. Haha. Alvin ate the least because he had diarrhoea in the afternoon, which affected his appetite. Another Poor thing.

During our conversation, Kai Yan and Alvin talked so much as if they are totally in different worlds though they are on the same ship, and both of their troubles came from the same person. Meng Yong also mentioned another funny incident about Potato, when he was accused for shiting on the floor. Then, Cheong Guan started to shoot Potato verbally until he was speechless.

We have also found out the one named "Mac De Livery K" in my tagboard was him. Therefore, Cheong Guan starts to relate every single thing that has to do with him with the prefix "Mac" ie. The shirt he is wearing to be called as "Mac-Shirt". The way Cheong Guan keeps on shooting Potato really made us laugh till our heads off. We also talked about Kai Yan with his beloved V, saying that he would extend his contract for her. Lol! That dinner was really a great time for us to catch up. Really hope Ming Jie, Wee Khiang and Darrell are with us back then.

After that pleasant dinner, we went to look for dramas so that we can watch during our free time. In the end, Meng Yong, Alvin and me bought 2 sets of korean dramas. We also went to shop at HMV in Citylink Mall before we went separate ways back home at the MRT station. It was quite a rare period to have 7 of us present for the gathering, because the max was only till 6 during previous gatherings. Let hope the next gathering, the 3 of them who are not able to make it today can make it!

Silly Me

I made a silly mistake. A very silly mistake.

Jiunn Kai, Si Hui and me agreed to celebrate Sasha's birthday on 25 April Friday at first. However, Yang wanted me to sail for him on that day, so we have to postpone to another day. Si Hui suggested to the next friday, and that time I was already out at sea, and I just replied "OK" without actually knowing the date.

Then, when I returned home from sailing yesterday, I saw Song Guan's invitation... And this friday is 2 May!!! Oh my god!!! What have I done??? Song Guan has already told me long time before that he will be having his birthday party this year and had told me the date, and yet I totally forgot all about it!!! What a failure I am... Then again, it is hard for me to push the arrangement again since I have not met up with Si Hui and Sasha for a long time... Guess I will have to make it up to Song Guan. Sorry!!!

A Trick Against Another "Trick"

Today, I came back from sailing this morning. This time I have swapped my sailing days and sailed with Team one on Friday, and that made me sail for 6 consecutive days! Now feeling terribly tired. I have not really sail with Team one since I have passed out, and I was quite surprised that members from Team one such as Junwei, David Chia, Ah Goh and others still treat me very well. I'm pleasantly touched.

When Ming Jie and I have our time off, we talked about all the times we had the time we first met. It was a bit unpleasant during our first and second phases of our training when a lot of troublemakers went around and stirred unnecessary chaos. We really hated going back training everytime back then. But still, I met a lot of friends during those courses. The real fun started we had was during our last phase of our training which lasted for 5 months.

There was one time which Ming Jie really cannot forget: There was one night when there was rounds conducted, and I always clean the room from top to bottom, so that those people will not call for re-rounds (Which will make me so irritated when more of my precious time is lost). Therefore, I will always do it good. However, those sickening people always like to pick on this and that, and in the end, I still required to stand for re-rounds...

After the first round, I called up to my bunkmates to help clean up those places found unsatisfactory. However, they thought I was playing a trick with them as I sounded happy to have re-rounds. Instead, they called me again saying that Alvin Koh, Kai Yan and Wee Khiang were caught by having memory sticks in their possession. Junyan and I suspected that it was a trick and just decided to play along with them quickly so that they could come down and helped with the cleaning.

Up there, I was already confirmed that it was a trick since Kai Yan and Wee Khiang gave themselves off by smiling and continued playing respectively. The best actor award should be given to Alvin as he typed a SMS in front of me saying that he had been caught with memory stick to his friend. At first, I was really convinced by his action, but still, Kai Yan kept smiling ever since I arrived and I never did see Alvin sending that message of his, so I tried to call them down to clean up. In the end, I stomped off with Junyan, and cleaned up the room by myself. At that point of time, I was really damned angry. They were only convinced when Potato checked with the people who wanted re-rounds himself. It was too late, I was already annoyed and the atmosphere became very tense after the re-rounds. Everyone was remorseful, and didn't know what to say.

Then, comes the dramatic part when I had finished my shower. When I opened the cubicle door, there stood all of my bunkmates saying "Sorry". At that point of time, I really wanted to forgive them but I was disappointed at the same time, because they still did not trust me to the end. As times goes by, I still forgave them. And now, we still very good friends. Haha. How's my friends coping with their life now? Take care and promise to have a meal together after we ORD-ed!

Missing You

Nowadays, the schedule has been very tight for me. I have to sail every week this month. Furthermore, I heard the schedule for next month is even worse. Oh my... I'm really not sure whether I can take it... Counting Down: 7 months and 19 Days

I have been missing all my close friends during my secondary school and JC days. I wonder if they are really doing fine. I heard 4E2 is meeting up occasionally. What about 4E1? Sigh...

From 2100 to 1650

The phone that Sze Yuan gave me before I enlisted on 14 Dec 2006, has finally reached its limit on last Sunday. The phone, Nokia 2100 shows these 2 words "Contact Service" whenever I switch it on and it will never be able to switch off again. How strange?! Then, everyone told me its time to change a phone to bring for work. Therefore, I went down to Nokia shop today to get another non-camera phone. Behold! Nokia 1650!

Don't worry, Sze Yuan, your handphone will still be well kept even if it is unusable. It is your gift of friendship after all...

Bleach New Filler Arc: 新隊長天貝繍助篇

Unfortuntely, Bleach will be having another round of fillers after the battle with Grimmjow. From Episode 168 onwards, the story will turn its attention to a new 3rd Squad Captain, Amagai Shuusuke, to replace the traitor Ichimaru Gin. How will the story progress? We will find out soon next week.

NEW 逆転 NOT 裁判

New Gyakuten, But Not Saiban? Fans of Gyakuten Saiban are currently waiting for the release of Gyakuten Saiban 5. However, no progression has been heard from CAPCOM ever since they planned to release that. Now, we have confirmed that CAPCOM will be releasing the new Gyakuten Series, 逆転検事 (Gyakuten Kenji), which literally means Turnabout Prosecutor in English. The main character featured in the game is none other than 御剣 怜侍 (Mitsurugi Reiji)! A new gameplay will be introduced and it is somewhat different from the Saiban series, instead of being the first person view, you will play Reiji from a third person perspective. However, so far from CAPCOM, they have only completed 40% of the game programming. Therefore, fans must wait patiently for the next game. As for Gyakuten Saiban 5, CAPCOM has not mentioned anything about it yet. I hope they will also work on that too, because I wish to see Odoroki Housuke (王泥喜 法介) and Naruhodo Minuki (成歩堂 みぬき) reunited with their mother.

Sail for 3 Days and Get 1 More Free!!!

I need a break!!! I have been sailing since last Thursday, had a day off on friday and continued to sail on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. However, we have been activated since we are on standby on Monday... Sigh. Just yesterday afternoon, when we came back to the harbour, I thought I having my day off today. Then, I received news that we had to attend another talk in the auditorium in the afternoon. Moreover, Tomorrow and Friday will be another half days for me. How I wish I can have at least three days full break to hibernate...

Picking Up D.Gray-Man

Recently, I have just finished watching Shakugan no Shana II and Ryuusei no Rockman Tribe.
For Shakugan no Shana II, the ending was another disappointment. The season ended with Shana and Yuji crushing Bal Masque's Plot again, but failed to defeat any of their enemies, and what will happened to Yoshida after Yuji left with Shana? It all seems that the story has yet come to an end. As for Ryuusei no Rockman Tribe, which is an anime with every episode that lasts for 10 minutes, the story ended quite abruptly. Bly disappeared with Ra Mu into the Mu Continent, can he defeat Ra Mu alone? Phantom Black and Yeti Blizzard disappeared to nowhere, so where have they gone to? Did Hoshikawa Akane finally know about his son's another identity? I thought this anime will last till 50 plus episodes, just like the first season. I didn't expect this season only last for 21 episodes... Now just getting started with D.Gray-Man, after watching 5 episodes, I thought it was not too bad. It will be another long lasting anime I will be going to catch it besides Naruto and Bleach.

Naruto Shippuuden New Filler Arc

The new one hour special of Naruto Shippuuden that was broadcasted last week. In episode 53, it concluded the Orochimaru and Sasuke Arc. However, the new opening shown in episode 54 has introduced some unknown characters that were not appeared anywhere in the manga. Thus, coming to this conclusion that Fillers will be expected in the upcoming episodes of Naruto Shippuuden. Let's just hope that this filler will be as good as Bleach's Bount Arc.

Back to the Past 2

Today I went to meet more old friends! For me, I considered this afternoon meeting as celebrating AhPok birthday Part 2. I met up with Song Guan and Yi Sheng early to pick his present, but we could not decide what is best for him. Therefore, we used "threatening-style" to force him to pick his present. Unfortunately, it didn't work for him. We went to Changi Airport T2 Staff Canteen for our lunch. AhPok missed the Japanese Curry Bento there very much, and it still tastes the same after one and a half year, and we are all satisfied with today's lunch.

We then moved on to T3 to walk around, and then rest at TCC (As usual, Sg favourite place..). I ordered an incredibly indulging dessert, Ti-rum-misu (As shown above). The first layer is the cheese with the cocoa powder, it was totally creamy and...out of this world. The inner layer is the cake and rum, I feel like drunk the minute the first bite entered my mouth. It was really incredible when I ate both the cheese and cake together... Even Sg could not resist the taste! It was such a pity that AhPok and Yi Sheng don't really appreciate the dessert. There are also chocolate, strawberries and sweet almond biscuits to come along it, a nice combination.

Back to the main story, we went back to Tampines Mall to let AhPok decide on the present he wants. In the end, we bought him 6 packs of milk... I met up with another gang shortly, Alvin Liow, Russell and Wilson for dinner. We had our meal at Fish and Co. in Tampines Mall, and had a really nice chat. We are already counting down the days we have left for our NS. Haha. Alvin suggested to go Hong Kong together, I don't really mind, but I wish I could go Japan instead even though I know it would be more expensive (Let's just wait for the news from Cheong Guan since he go there quite often...=p). Anyway, it really feel so good to be with old friends again.

Back to the Past

Yesterday night, Wei Tian and I gathered at Tampines Mall Cafe Cartel to celebrate AhPok birthday! Then again, I was late for my appointment. Oops! It's been quite a long time since we last met. I still get to meet AhPok quite often, but not Wei Tian since she spends most of the time with tk... Haha. Anyway, it was really nice to see each other, and we chat mostly the memories we had back when we were in primary school, secondary school and JC. The times we had were really fun, how I wish the time can stay forever when we were still studying together...

Wei Tian and AhPok both had Grilled Chicken for their dinner, while I had Fish and Chicken Combo. After that, when we are about to call for dessert, Wei Tian suddenly passed me 2 candles secretly?! She hint me to put them on the dessert, so I also tried to hint her to order cakes. In the end, we put in the candles on... Banana Split! Haha, creative, isn't? Our gift for him was not a dinner treat, but a mystery present for him. Hope he likes it. Then, we had our picture taken, but we couldn't find someone to help us to get our group photo taken. Therefore, we decided to take NeoPrints!

Before we went to get picture taken, we met Luvena! However, I felt strange seeing her and started to things that are very weird, and I don't even know why I even acted this way. Then, we headed to Tampines Mall for NeoPrint first, but it was down for renovation, and so we went to Century Square instead. Viola! We had our picture nicely taken! But we need to wait for AhPok to scan it. We walked home together and AhPok was gentleman enough to send Wei Tian back home.

A Waste of Time

Yesterday, I went back to camp early in the morning when I was supposed to stay at home to sleep. It was because of a stupid talk held in the afternoon made me went back to collect my shoes. Then, Me, Guofeng and Ken went out of the camp as soon as we collected our stuff. We decided to head for Jurong Point, so we waited for 257 at the bus stop. Luckily, there is a kind man who hired a cab and kindly sent us there for free.

It was 8.45am at that time, and of course no shops are opened for business yet. We settled down at MacDonalds and had the $2 meal for our breakfast. We sat there and did nothing for the next one hour. When the shops are finally opened, we went for a walk around the place. Ken and I stopped by The Star Factory for a short arcade game. He played Tekken 6 and I played KOF XI and KOF Maximum Impact. It was actually my first time playing 3D KOF game, and I found it was not too bad. The only bad thing was that it does not featured most of the classic characters from the previous seasons.

We have also shopped Music Junction, Toys R Us, Comic Connection and Mega Multimedia to pass time before we settled down for lunch. We had our lunch at Pizza Hut at a special student price! Looks like we appear to have student-like faces to those people who served us. Haha!

Anyway, we went back to the camp again. The talk started at 3.00pm and it actually lasted for 2 hrs 30 mins! But we still managed to take the last shuttle bus out. My day just ended like that... Wasted...
