The Free Entry into Universal Studios Singapore

You think getting a free ticket to USS is a good thing? Think again.

It was my very first time going to Universal Studios Singapore. While many of my friends have already been there, not for free. My first time was free!!! It was supposed to be a Summer Party sponsored by my company that I was interning in. However, the Saturday turned out to be a big disaster when I reached there with my friends. Of course I am not expecting the only people who are there were the people from the company, but the number if people on that day were freaking a lot! Because that day was the day with a few groups of tourists, and the worse one - Clash with the NTUC Family Day. The worst thing one would ever expect. I heard that that Saturday was really one abnormal day just by looking the amount of people. Well, thanks USS for giving tickets at such a day.

It was really annoying that you have to wait more than 30 minutes just to get one simple ride. I am talking about those meant-not-to-be-attraction rides such as Merry-Go-Round or some other kiddish rides. Those rides even needed 40 minutes to get ride on! It was really that atrocious.

The Queuing Times as follows:
1. 10 minutes to ride on Battlestar Galatica Human. (Outdoor Roller Coaster, and since it was our first ride early in the morning.)
2. 40 minutes to ride on The Revenge of the Mummy. (Indoor Roller Coaster)
3. 20 minutes to watch Lights, Camera, Action. (Steven Spielberg's Simulated Demonstration)
4. 95 minutes to ride on Transformers (Indoor Simulation Ride)
5. 30 minutes to ride on Battlestar Galatica Cylon. (Outdoor Roller Coaster)
4. 50 minutes to ride on Jurassic Park Rapid Adventure. (Water Slide Ride)
Wow. Almost half of the day is spent on queueing!

After my dinner with my internmates, I went to reunite with my family (Just brother and cousin though) and had my second round of dinner! Not that I'm glutton, it was just that they had not taken their dinner so I went to accompany them and ended up eating another meal. The night ended with a spectacular firework. But we ended up catching 2 seconds before the fireworks ended because the dinner time took longer than expected...

It was another terrible sight when the big freaking crowd of people just swarmed to the exit immediately after the firework. In order not to squeeze with them, we decided to stay a little longer and visit the gift shops. And surprisingly, most of the merchandises were not that highly priced than expected. Probably the ticket had already taken care of that. Finally, after 30 minutes, we got out of the place and ready to head back to Vivocity via the monorail. But the queue was still long. In the end, we still have to queue for our "last ride of the day...".
