Before the School Starts...

It has been a wonderful holiday for me as I have been busying blogging every now and then during this period. Well, I have been going out very very often, and of course the hole in my wallet is getting really really big... Here is another outing which worsened the condition of my wallet.

I went to Tampines One as early as 10.30am to get the gift for exchange. But I could not seemed to find any until Russell suggested More Than Words just beside Times Bookstore. I bought a Coin Box, and another Eeyore Mug to represent Edwin's present since he begged me to get one for him as he was lazy to get one by himself.

It was a meeting at 1pm. Yes, I told the other to meet at 1pm for 2 movies, in which the first one would start at 1.30pm. In fact, the first movie started at 1.50pm. I sent a earlier timing across to make sure people will reach for the movie "on time". As expected, people were late, mostly reached at 1.30pm, and one even reached at 1.55pm! Well, this is the punctuality of Singaporeans...

The first movie with the VeNoM was Sherlock Holmes. A very nice movie, but the personalites of the main characters are greatly twisted, so that it can capture more people's attention to watch. Well, in the real novel, Sherlock and Watson are not good fighters at all...

There was about an hour before the next movie, so the others used the time to check on the CORS. Well, the CORS was not going well very well for some of us... Indra joined the second movie with us, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. It was a rather not as fantastic as the first movie, but it captured more cute and adorable scenes of Theodore!

Next, dinner time! In order to cater to Halal Food for our friends, we went to the Mad Jack in Paradize Centre. After enjoyed the Chicken-Burger-which-does-not-taste-like-chicken-at-all, we headed back to the Cathay for dessert at Ben & Jerry! The ice cream parlour which I have not tried even once in my entire life. Finally, I have my first try! Because we have a total of 9 people, so we order the giant VerMonster which costs 88 Bucks!!! At first, we thought of have some game rules for eating the ice cream while playing UNO. However, when the bucket of ice cream is served, everyone lost their control and started digging for it!!! Poor Indra, he cannot take so much sugar, he had a sugar rush and gave up eating after a few bites...

The gift exchange session finally commenced. When it is finally my turn to pick the mysterious person... The card I picked was Edwin!!! That means I'm buying the mug for myself?! Anyway, this is the exchange result:

The last part of the outing was to present Edwin's second birthday present!!! As usual, the belated birhtday boy did not show any expression of happiness or surprised or shocked or whatever... Everyone was glad to see how the jacket fitted him so well. Haha.
