A Night in NTU Chalet

Prologue

After the usual work in Kumon, I hurried down to meet the belated birthday boy and girl, Wei Tian and Eugene. We had lunch Shokudo in Raffles City Shopping Centre, and had some chat about the school, which will be re-opening soon for a next semester...

It was a short one hour for me to meet them since I had work before that. We all rushed down to City Hall MRT Station to meet Jiunn Kai. I was not expecting to meet Jun Jie, a friend whom was working with me that morning. He is joining us as well! Good good, the more the merrier. And so, Jiunn Kai, Pok Yen, Jun Jie and I went down to NTU together, while Yi Sheng, Wei Tian and Eugene headed back to the East.

At Jurong Point... Part 1

Pok Yen was going back to NTU for some other school activities, so he would join us later in the night. And therefore, only the 3 of us alighted at Boon Lay while Pok Yen taking the train further to Pioneer. We headed to Jurong Point, which was used to be my hangout place when I was still serving Navy. Finally, I saw the new Air-Conditioned Bus Interchange is completed, and hence many bus services switch over to the new place. However, there are still a few bus services serving in the old interchange.

I could not believe there are actually 2 Fairprice in Jurong Point. One located in the basement, while the other at second level and the difference between the 2 is a word difference. The one in second level is called Fairprice Xtra. Just that one word difference, the whole supermarket becomes a hypermart!!! The place is freaking big, just like the Giant Hypermart in Tampines! Look's like Fairprice is really going to bring Shop N Save down to ashes...

In Hall 9

Russell came shortly when we buying our snacks. We took the bus in the temporary bus interchange to Jiunn Kai's school. His school is really horrible, we have not even stepped on the school grounds, we have already saw one AT boarding the bus at the first bus stop when the bus entered the school area!!!

Putting that aside, we quickly went to Jiunn Kai's hall and let him do some area cleaning before the girls came. After Si Hui and Sasha came and had settled down, we took a walk down to some canteen for dinner. Then, we had a stroll around the campus, but not the whole campus. When we got back, we were all sweaty and sticky... Eww... After a nice shower, we played card games together. The fun was brought to the highest point when Pok Yen joined us. We even alarmed the security guard, which was the worst thing we could ever expect. Fortunately, we were lucky enough as he let us stay as long we lower our volume. Phew.

It was 3am plus when we decided to give it a rest. Jiunn Kai and I went bathing again since his room was quite humid... After which, Sasha, Russell and Jiunn Kai went to sleep, Si Hui and Jun Jie watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and I played Russell's PSP. When I was bored of the game, it was around 5.15am. I tried to find a comfortable position to sleep on the floor, but it was not working... Then I decided to sleep on where Sasha was sleeping. I curled at one corner of the bed, tried not to get too close to her. But I still could not sleep comfortably. Haha. After the 2 finished their movie, both of them slept on the floor...

The Next Day
It was 8.30am when I woke up and discovered the girls have woke up and went "missing". They should have gone to the toilet to wash up. It was around 10am when everyone was awoke and ready for breakfast. The rest had McDonalds, while Jiunn Kai and I had Subway. The girls gone off after that, while we went back to the hall to rest and did our own activities, played Bridge, played Stress, played PSP, bidded for CORS, etc... When we finally decided to leave, it was 5pm.

At Jurong Point... Part 2

The 4 of us went back to Jurong Point to look for Edwin's present. Russell thought of getting him a jacket since he lost his SoC Jacket accidentally... So we went the whole mall to look for a nice one for him. Luckily, we could find a really nice one for him. Even Russell wanted it for himself... After which, we had a quick dinner at JUrong Point's Kopitiam. Damn, I did not bring that Privilege Card again...

And Then...

We went down to Dhoby Ghaut to buy the tickets for the OG gathering the next day. After we got the tickets, we went to hunt for the gift in Plaza Singapura. After Russell got his, I decided not to get mine first. Jun Jie wanted to eat the cakes at Cafe Cartel since the price will drop 50% after 9pm. The day finally ended after the dessert session. I should have get more sleep after I got home, but I had chat online till late night...
