Ok, this outing is not so much an outing since we are still meeting at school. And I'm not the one who intitated this outing! Haha. But not much of planning needs to be done. Just booking a badminton court will do. The thing you should plan is actually on what we are going to do later. Luckily, Russell got this Swensens Deal and so most probably we would stick to this suggestion.
Russell and I thought we would be early as the train approaching Bouna Vista, and so we thought of taking 95 to the campus. However, the bus stop was still pack with people at 9.30am... We could not get into the bus successfully after 2 buses came, and we actually thought of taking a cab in. Hence, we walked down towards the front and we found ourselves standing in the bus stop, the stop before the always-crowded-bus-stop. We also found Hui Shan and Sohaila sitting down there waiting for the bus too! Ok, 95 came and we finally got in. But when the bus reached the next stop, the crowd was already gone... Darn. Russell and I vowed not to take 95 to NUS ever again...
We could not really located the Badminton Court at first. When we found it, we saw Jing Sheng, Ying Cong and Irvan playing among themselves. We joined in and the fun match started. Edwin came later, then Yi Jia and then Indra. After a nice 2 hours, we sat down in a corner and discussed about the lunch matter. Apparently, no one really agreed to Russell's suggestion because some of them have classes later on, some of them have some other appointment. Thus, in order to suit everybody's request, we went to Clementi instead. We dined in at Ramen Ten, and Yi Jia and Hui Shan had to rush back to the school, so they had a quick meal and went off. Then, The rest of us went to Clementi Bookstore to look for textbooks since we heard that it is selling them at a cheaper price than the school.
We began to go separate ways after that, Jing Sheng went back to school to meet his friends for Badminton Trials at night. Edwin was planning on going too, but he was going to buy a bag for himself first. Ying Cong was going home by bus. The one taking train were Sohaila (who would alight at Tiong Bahru), Russell, Edwin and I. I still had some time to spare before my work at Kumon. Therefore, I accompanied the 2 of them to Orchard to get Edwin's bag. It was only a short period of 30 minutes before I rushed off to my work.
Yup, that's the first outing. Some people proposed for another badminton session, while some proposed for another different outing. Haha, good to have people eager to meet out!
