Jocks & Queens Party

Last Saturday was Wilson's Birthday Party. He named his own party "Jocks & Queens". As the name suggested, those invited are encouraged not to dress so casually. But I don't care! It's just a T-shirt, bermudas and slippers for me. Haha.

The party started at 6pm, but when we reached there at 7pm, no one was really there yet. Only those helping out with his party, whom were all from his JC class... Wilson's party was a complete outcast from the other chalets nearby. Normally, people associate BBQ with chalet. Hencem you could see almost every other chalet had a BBQ pit. The smoke produced from it created a hazy environment. Wilson's party was different, as it was completely smoke-free. Haha.

Wilson's party was more like a reception. The food was all prepared by his classmates and definitely "Healthy and Natural"! There were salads, sandwiches and spaghetti. There are only 3 words I could describe: Simple yet Elegant. There was even a DJ set up! And it was the first I know a person can actually own a potable DJ set.

Alvin, Jiunn Kai, Russell and I sat one side with our food and started chatting while waiting for Yi Sheng and the others to come.

The guests whom we knew came later were: Ms Ho, Xiujun, Qian Hwee, Tze Keong, Rong Teng, Christina, Yan Siew and Yi Rong.

The cake cutting and photo taking session only started at 10pm. Ok, that's a bit late... But anyway, the table was filled with "Yamazaki" Pastry Boxes. I was wondering if Wilson is helping the shop to advertise... However, the things inside those boxes were in fact cream puffs! The whipped cream was like... Extremely too much. After eating that, most of us had difficulty eating the cake...

After the session, Alvin and Rong Teng left. So Ms Ho suggested to "merge" the 2 chatting groups together and chat instead. With Ms Ho in a chatting group, we could we really talk from one topic to another unknowingly... And Yi Sheng was like "watching us" chatting until Ms Ho suddenly gave a comment about the soccer match (which was screeing on the chalet right opppsite us), then he would start to talk... The whole chat group then became the conversation between the 2 of them while all the others looked at them. Haha.

The whole chat lasted till 12am. And most of us were catching the last bus, so we left the party. It was really one nice party. Well, it would be better if the location was at hotel. But too bad, Wilson tried and it turned out unsuccessful. Still, the party was not too bad. The food was already a great plus to it. Haha.
