Mood Swing

Ok, this is not about me having my "PMS". Haha. Just a thought I had when I ride on the swing this morning.

I was jogging with my usual buddies. Then, we went one round through a street and jogged back to Sun Plaza Park. I stopped and decided to walk and feel the fresh air in the park. Sometimes, I always think that my mum should come to the park once in a while. The greenery and the fresh air will make one better. Your mood will of course be lifted up.

Then, I quickly went to the swing since there are no one sitting on it. Each time, when I sat on the swing, I will always have a flashback for my younger self riding on it. I always enjoy the "breeze" which run passed me when I swing downwards. I also enjoy looking up the sky as I swing. I will swing as high as I could, it feels exceptionally great as you swing higher.

However, you need to kick harder to swing higher; and as you swing higher, you need to grab to the chains more tightly. It sounds like an analogy that you have to work extra hard to go to higher position in life, and when you attained the position, you still need to cling hard on it. Otherwise, you will fall badly... ouch...

I also feel like shouting when I swing downwards. It is like a mini Pirate Ship in the Theme Park. But shouting in such area, people will probably think that you are crazy. But still, if you try not to shout your heart out, you feel even worse. It is like you are keeping a burden to your heart. Now come to think of it, there is no nice place in Singapore where you can shout your heart out. The beach is crowded, there is no large plain greenfield, and you can't possibly go the the roof of a high rise building. If you could, you probably will not shout because there are other skyscrapers surrounding you. All you want, is a place where there is a large non-forested area and quite deserted. You can just shout... I believe shouting is a way to relieve yourself.
