And Again, Theory is Better than Strength

Yesterday, I took the whole IPPT again since it has been 3 months after I got my partial failure from the last attempt. And the results? I got another partial failure as I pulled 6 times with the first time not counted, again, claiming that the first time I did was too fast and that my chin did not reach over the bar... I tried to pull one more time but still failed... And so, I got one more partial failure again. Many people suggested to me that I should go over Changi to take my IPPT as the instructors there are better. Haha.

This morning, I had another test over at Ubi. Yes, the driving Basic Theory Test (BTT). I took both the E-trial and the actual on the same day. Many people from Navy said that there is no need to study for it, so I really heed their "advice" and did not study that much. As a result, I failed my E-trial test. The worse case is I failed twice when I was given to try 2 papers in one sitting. I began to worry that I will not pass for my actual sitting. I took the last 10 minutes to revise those important notes quickly before entering the test room.

After all the candidates settled down to their assigned seats, the instructions were presented in the "powerpoint" style with a recorded voice to guide us through. As soon as the presentation is over, we can start with the test. Sitting beside me was a old guy, he sat there for 5 minutes even though most of us had already started with the test. And finally, he turned to me and asked how to begin with test...and yet I thought he understood the instructions given earlier... As I was attempting my questions, I will take a peep on how he was answering his questions, and it was obvious that he has difficulty answering them because he was straining his eyes. I was wondering why hadn't he brought his spectacles along. I was even thinking of helping him changing the language to his kind of language, but still I did not.

It was only 10 minutes after the examiner declared that we may begin, and one candidate has already completed the test and passed it successfully. I was impressed, but I still took my time to check through all my answers again and again, and thinking whether my options are the correct answers. The old guy beside turned to me after he answered all the questions, and asked whether he should just click on the "YES" button to end the test. I kindly advised him to check through again, but he did not want it. And so, the word "FAILED" flashed before him after he clicked on the button.

Ten minutes was left and only 3 of the candidates remained, and of course I was one of them. I looked around and saw the other 2 left were "Banglahs". I was so shocked that my pace was comparable to theirs. I was ready to submit my results anyway, so after I hesitated for a while, I ended my test and hoped my umpteen times of checking could give me a "PASSED". And... I did it!!! Yay, Me!!!

Look's like I'm really weak when comes to strength... I need to train more, but I'm too lazy!!! Anyway, I booked my Final Theory Test (FTT) on October, and I heard not many people can pass this test if you don't study hard enough. Therefore, I need to study!!!
