On Thursday, I made an appointment to meet up with 2 of my beloved teachers from TPJC, Ms Agnes Yue and Mr Tan Chee Boon. It was quite a unsuitable time to meet up as Song Guan and I had duty the day before and are very tired, and worse, I was down with cough and flu. However, that was the only available day for us to meet up for this month, so no matter what I will still meet out.
Initially, we agreed to meet up at 2.30pm but I was held back as something came up back in the camp so we have to meet up later. My mood was not very good on the way home since I had very little sleep during my duty (which is always the case), and really feeling like throwing my temper back at home, but I really have to control them because it is not nice to throw them at my mum everytime I get home... And I did it. (But I threw my temper again when I got home today after my duty.)
We supposed to meet inside the school, but the other main gate was locked up (when it is always open after school hours). Song Guan and I were utterly surprised, we even went to the side gate to take a look, and it was the same thing. The only difference is that the gate has become a turnstile and you can only exit but not enter. I don't really get the point of doing that to the school. It is so hard if the students decide to head to Tampines Mart for lunch through the side gate and in the end they are locked out and had to make one stupid detour and enter from the main gate. It is as if the principal is encouraging students to support the canteen food! It will be even more pointless if it is for security reason because it is deterring ex-students to come back to visit the school anymore...
Back to the subject, we met outside the school gate and my other 'mum' drove us to Bugis TCC and we had a great time chatting even though most of us are tired and sick. Yi Sheng came later. We realised that they have changed the menu and they have no longer served Endless Sesame Waltz and the old Tiramisu. Such a pity. My favourite drink and dessert are not really popular after all. We talked about the incident of the mysterious death of 2 Tampines Secondary students, and the suicide cases happened in this month... Creepy.
The teachers left shortly after we left TCC. We then take a stroll to Suntec and decide what to have for dinner, and we landed on Pepper Lunch. Song Guan and I ordered the Unagi Special while Yi Sheng ordered Curry Chicken. We then take a walk down in the mall and took the train back to Tampines. Song Guan thought of staying a bit longer but I kept complaining that I need my sleep for my duty the next day and I have been pretending to be energetic. And so, another day ended.
