Shockingly Overwhelmed 4

Another Episode is here!

Again, for those who are not familiar with this title, it is about my Birthday Surprises ever since my 21st Birthday. It was a surprise from the same people as last year. But the company was different this time.

That Sunday, 10 May 2015, was supposed to be just a gathering with the boss and the 3 closest subordinates, and also to celebrate Mothers' Day. And which I was together with June and Jiunn Kai to buy a cake to eat after dinner.

We arrived at Punggol Settlement, a place I have never been to. It is located up at the every end of Punggol. Quite secluded. But is a nice park and quite a famous spot for cycling and jogging for those sports lovers. It is also housed with many Chinese seafood restaurants. It was also away from busy roads, so the air is quite fresh. However that place is totally not considered secluded on Mothers' Day, because for its super long queue!!!

When Eric and his family arrived, I was happily going to play Eden. And I heard Joyce telling Eden to say "Happy Birthday to Kor Kor!" But I was like "What?!" My Birthday is not like another 3 days. But thanks to Joyce, I knew what is going to happen. Haha.

The cake was not really for Mothers' Day, but is my Birthday Cake afterall. And Eric even gave me an Angbao... That is something I was not expected.

Anyway, after some thinking, Eric decided to change location, and drove us to a nearby, even more secluded area in Punggol, Punggol Marina Club. It is definitely more secluded, because the crowd wasn't too horrible at all. Probably, that was quite a good place for crowd escapist.

We finally started eating at around 8.30pm. The food, thankfully, didn't taste so bad. In fact, it was quite fresh for most of the dishes we ordered. And the last dish of the day, the cake that we have bought together. After they sang birthday song, they even called Eden to blow candles with me, but that cheeky kid just stared blankly and the cake and ignored me most of the time... Oh wells, as much as I wanna made him laugh, he just treated me as invisible... Boo Hoo...

Jiunn Kai treated us for this dinner. It was around $180. But thanks again for the people who celebrated early birthday for me. It was another delightful surprise. I will treat this bunch of people again once I have found my full time job.
