Jealousy

Ever since I started working as a Technician, I have been working nearly 3 weeks straight plus full OT. This is all because of the money that I planning to save for my future plans.

Indeed, I have been complaining that I'm too poor.
However,
I'm not jealous over people who can buy anything they wanted.
I'm not jealous over people who own branded stuff.
I'm not jealous over people who are smarter than me.
I'm not jealous over people who can earn big money.
I'm not jealous over people who look more handsome than me.

Strangely, I'm only jealous over people who keep posting their overseas photos on facebook.
Why would the hell they keep showing off their photos, especially to someone like me who can't afford to go overseas and to explore the world out there...

Yup. I have been always wanting to go on an overseas trip. I really do not want to be someone who goes to other country and start being amazed and fascinated by the things over there as an middle-aged adult. I want to use my little bit of youth to play in other countries...

My friends always say, "Aiya, just work and save up over the holidays loh!" These kind of things are always said easier than done. How much can you save up over the holidays? How much will you need to survive in an semester period? I'm not a normal student that someone will help you pay your school fees and phone bills and internet bills...

Then, my friends will say again, "Go be tutor! Good money!" Yah right, like everyone can cut out to be a tutor. I'm not some people can just teach in any method and don't really care how my student performs in the end. I think one tutor's responsibility is quite heavy. You must really have a way to have the student understand you, and not letting the student to climb over you. As for these two major qualities, obviously, I have none. Plus, I don't really think I have the commitment to teach one student for such a long period of time.   ..

Money will always be the problem when we start to come out working. You don't see it now, but you will eventually. And this fact will not change. Especially, living in Singapore. Money is indeed the root of evil, not all. So people, please spend them wisely, and not let your future generation suffer in the future as Singapore standard of living will just keep on rising.
