I was on my way to school on the fourth day. It was just an hour plus journey for Simei to NUS. Upon boarding the train, I met my Primary cum JC Schoolmate, Xin Ni. She was on her way to school. We chatted all the way from Simei to Dover.
From the station to the traffic junction outside Clementi Bus Interchange, I saw another friend, Jieying. At the same time, she saw her friend too. Moreover, her friend saw her friend too, and so happen that friend's friend's friend is actually my friend, Lionel! The 4 of us took the bus together and went to school. The 2 girls alighted at SDE, while we guys alighted at their next stop.
Lionel and I took on separate ways at the Central Forum near AS6, and I continued walking towards COM1 and I saw 2 of my JC juniors. I just chatted for a while with them; took a glance around COM1 and walked back to AS6; and I saw yet another friend of mine, but we only managed to exchange a Hi-Bye.
It was just a short period of time and I have met so many people on the way... Yup, the world is getting smaller and smaller once you are in University. To further substantiate my point, I will provide another example on that same day. Russell and I were waiting for Alvin at the Science Bus Stop before going home. We met Zhen Ming and his friends. And one of his friends knew Russell! Ok, point elaborated.
