Birthday Parties on 3 Consecutive Weekends: Part Three

Part Three: Alvin's Birthday

Finally, the last birthday party before my exams was over! It was really well-prepared and organised. But I will sidetrack first to recall how I spent my morning on that Sunday.

Sidetrack:
I went to SMU early morning at 10am. What for? To study of course. Meng Yong is the student there, so we can have some access to the facilities! Ming Jie asked Meng Yong to book a study room in his school, for the 2 of us to have a place to study. After some time, 2 of us met up with Meng Yong and Potato for a late lunch at the Kopitiam opposite the school. And look's like each SMU student is given a premium Kopitiam Card which allows the students to enjoy 20% discount. But still, the food after discount is still no cheaper than the food sold in my school...

BackOnTrack:
After the meal, I went to find Jiunn Kai and Lionel to get Alvin's present. Later, Yi Sheng and Russell came. After shopping through half of Orchard, we finally got shades and a key and locket chain for the birthday boy.

Upon reaching the party, we all gathered with Jiunn Kai's classmates. Almost the whole bunch of 05S16 gathered together! When we reached the party venue, we were all welcomed by Alvin, who was shocked to see the whole gang of us appearing together, followed by his favourite hobby: Taking photos! Then, is the usual buffet dinner, and chat among ourselves, and this time, we chatted with the 05S16 people. His classmates are all interesting people, I was like laughing throughout the whole chat.

The cake cutting session carried out as planned. Alvin even made cards for his mother and his aunt as a gift to thank them for planning his party. The birthday boy also made an effort to print out photos for each of the guests! After taken all the photos and finished eating the cakes, we wanted Alvin to open his presents before we left. We (not his S16 classmates) went home after seeing Alvin was "touched" by us.
