The September Boys

I have been wanting to blog this for like so long, but time always prohibits me to do so. Now, it only gives me a short period to do it, so I have to make it very brief.

As the title has already given the clue, this is about the boys whose birthdays fall on the month of September: Yi Sheng and Jiunn Kai. It is also because of the time constrain, I planned a combined celebration for the both of them even tough their birthdays are 17 days apart. I went out on Saturday with Pok Yen, Russell and Wilson to buy the presents for the birthday boys.

The celebration of Yi Sheng with the Flower 5 (which has became 3 because Sze Yuan and Song Guan are now studying abroad...) came later. The combined celebration came first. Wilson and I planned the gathering restaurant at MOF at Suntec City, and it was a great surprise to see Wilson came the earliest!!! His reason was, "It is not good for the staff to wait for us if we have already made the reservations!!!" Haha, next time, we should just reserve for the restaurant we going before each outing to make sure he is punctual!!!

Anyway, the Floosy Gang and the HCL Gang came together (except Russell) for the first time. The atmosphere was alright, but there was still a bit of awkwardness... The food was great, as usual, and it was time to distribute the present to the belated birthday boys! Haha, it was great to see the FCUK watch we bought fits Jiunn Kai perfectly. But he said that will be his 3rd new watch for the year... It is because his mum bought one for him, and e bought himself another one too. As for Yi Sheng, he was surprised to see his present (Ok, let's just pass on the fact that I wrapped it in a ugly manner) because it is one of the computer games that he enjoys. His eyes were sparkling, as if he wanted to play the game right away. Yes! Another Mission Accomplished.

After the dinner, we were all deciding what to do next. In the end, when they finally decided to watch a movie back at Tampines, I rejected them since I would be having my test that next day...

The next day was the second celebration for Yi Sheng. Pok Yen chose Cafe Cartel as the lunch venue. After my test, Russell and I rushed back to Tampines. Upon reaching Tampines, we met Tze Keong, Yi Sheng, and Wei Tian along the way along the way to the cafe, only Pok Yen was outside the restaurant waiting for us. Haha.

It was another round of pleasant lunch! After giving Yi Sheng the second present, which is a Brown Sweater from Uni Glo, we headed to the usual shopping area to shop around while the lovebirds made their leave. We hit at the Timezone again, playing the ball throwing game and watching people striking the Jackpot at the Candy Game. It was around evening when I felt very tired and decided to go back, while Pok Yen and Russell continued shopping for mooncakes.

Well, finally we have made some time to put in the celebrations. Really troublesome to celebrate the September Boys...! Oops, I shouldn't have say that but that is the fact where most people will be busy preparing for their exams. Oops again! But can't blame them! Haha.
