Teacher, A Job that is Becoming More Challenging...

Just in 2 consecutive days, I went out with my Navy coursemates whom I have not seen them for so long.

On Sunday, immediately after my work, I went to Clarke Quay (again...) to meet up with Jinqing. And of course, if I meeting him, Ming Jie will also be there. Jinqing is now working as an Assistant Librarian in a school, as well as a part-time student in SIM. He seemed to meet a lot of problems with not only the students' disciplinary problems, but also Principal's poor management... As he started to describe his working problems, one person came to my mind was Song Guan. He was teaching in a school, with the same problems as Jinqing's. Though Jinqing is not teaching, but the students are misusing the books in the library... in which has caused a lot of problems for him, even colleagues are backstabbing him. Thus, making him to believe that schools are becoming more and more unbearable for people to work in... Furthermore, as a part-time student, he is also facing a lot of mental stress.

Say Kang too. Just today, I met up with him, along with Guofeng and Shaun Wong. Say Kang is studying full-time, working part-time. He could not cope with his studies mostly due to the lack of foundations of several subjects. Plus, working part-time is giving him lesser time to concentrate in his studies, stressing his body at the same time. The objective is that he hope that he could answer most of his problems though this special outing.

At first, Guofeng suggested to go Jurong East Library, and Say Kang agreed without any hesitation. But, 3 Eastside people going to the west?! So I suggested to change to Esplanade Library. We went to Pepper Lunch for lunch first. Shaun and I ordered the Pepper Steak Special Meal... It tastes heavenly great! Better than Jack's Place Steak! Haha.

We went to the library. But everyone was disappointed when we could not find any seats... Sorry... so we went back to McDonalds in Marina Square. Shaun helped out for his GP, explaining the ways to approach an Essay. For Maths, Shaun said he could not really teach, so I tried. But in the end, I just wrote formulas for him... Haha. It was also a nice catching up session. The other 3 of them can talk about their RNS, while Say Kang, Shaun and I could talk about our JRC Freedom. Shaun also told me he is meeting with his ship crew quite oftenly, along with Alvin. Wow, I was quite impressed that they could meet out so often...

Shaun told me Alvin is also working as a tutor. Why don't I give it a try? Nah... My English is unbelievably poor. Teaching Say Kang once again proved my point. Haha.
