It was a special day. It was the first time that the whole gang took their time off from work (Except for Russell) and played for one whole day. And it was the first time Jiunn Kai driving his friends around!
The very first place to stop by was Turf City as according to plan. Jiunn Kai introduced this Dim Sum session at Ah Yat Seafood Restaurant. We did not have to worry about dining in such at expensive restaurant, because all Dim Sum is sold at half-priced! In total, we ordered around 17 plates and they worth around $70! The food is nice, but the service needs a lot of improvement... Nice seeing so many Cantonese people around!
And that is all for our plan... We only decided having Dim Sum during afternoon... The activities for the rest of the day was not planned at all... So after a tour around a horse farm, we decided to go KBox!!! And the nearest branch is at Clementi. We checked in at around 2.30pm, and the somehow nice lady offered us K Student Package even though Jiunn Kai and I did not have Student Pass... (In fact, we have not received any yet!) However, we were told that our time was only till 6pm?!
Singing with Jiunn Kai was only time that the atmosphere can be so high. Really miss the time singing with him. Now, I can feel the high again!!! WOW! That K Session was the only time we did not really pick songs by Male Artistes! We only picked a few for the first few songs, and subsequently, we picked a lot of songs by Female Artistes. Jiunn Kai can really hit high notes... I was damn impressed. I was damn happy when I could finally sing "窗外" with someone! And Sasha was the one! We are so excited once we finished with the song. The difficult part of the song is during the chorus part where most people did not know where to start singing. Finally! I found someone who can sing with me! Haha. Si Hui did not sing much, but we are so high that she kept laughing, and joined us singing whenever she sees songs that she is familiar with. Really enjoyed the session. We even stayed till 7pm and we only left after they cut away our system. Haha.
Our night activity was not really decided. But thanks to Sasha, we could have a destination. It was because Sasha left her phone in her shop, so we made a trip to Raffles Place to retrieve it. For dinner, we settled down at the eatery outside her shop once more. We have spent too much for the previous 2 activities, so we should have something rather cheap for our dinner. Sasha also treated us cupcakes again! Yipee!
The K session did not really end after we left the KBox. We continued on the car! We are so high!!! We all really enjoyed the day. But too bad, Russell was not there...
