A Soccer Match: Troublesome, Irritating and Stupid

I still hate Soccer, and it is something that will never change. I did not expect that I have to stay behind to support our ship team in a soccer match today. For those who have not pass their IPPT will have to participate in morning exercise everyday, while others can just slack in the squadron office. But anyway, the exercise only lasts for 30 minutes, and we can do whatever we want, which really makes not much difference with those who passed. It is really time-wasting as the match only starts at 2.30pm and which means we have around 4-5 hours to waste. Imagine how much things can be done in 4-5 hours!

Then, "someone" asked me and Guofeng to set a water point before the match starts, and we have to make a long trip to one building to another just to take the dispener. The distance between both is around 500m. Sadly, our effort is not appreciated since no one even care to take a drink.

It is damn boring watching people chasing the stupid ball. I sat on the hard concrete uncomfortably and stood up and walked up and down every 10 minutes.

One thing I hate about soccer is because it is a sports that the probability of an injury inflicting on a person is way much higher than the others. Everywhere I go, everywhere I see, there will be at least one person down with a leg injury. Today's match was not an expection either. A player working at the Squadron Office came down to help our team play in this match. This man got a hairline fracture on his left ankle and got MC for a week. Because of this incident, I have to stay back to draft the incident report... Damn.

After he was sent to the medical centre, that "someone" asked me to do him A favor, which is to get the injured man's lockers keys so that he could get his stuff for him before he was sent to the hospital. After I got the keys, that "someone" wanted to me to do him ANOTHER favor and that is to get the injured man's things from the locker so that he could pass them to him. After I got the injured man's things, he went disappeared because he went to substitute another guy to play... And I assumed he wanted me to him A LAST favor to help him pass the man's things to him. Why can't that "someone" just say he wanted me to do everything?!

Luckily, my officers said that I could send the report tomorrow so that I would not have to stay back for so long. What a day...
