Horrendous Cream

Today, I went shopping with my Brother at the City Hall, and we always wanted to try the new ice cream parlour that is opened just recently at the Citylink Mall. The name of the parlour is Marvelous Cream. It seemed that the shop is franchised from Japan, selling French Parfaits. (Weird huh. A Japanese shop selling French Ice Cream.)

The service is not bad. The only confusing part is that they used "Irrashaimasen" (Welcome in Japanese) when people come into the shop, but when they have done serving the customers, they will say "Merci" (Thank You in French). So they decide to use 2 languages since the origin of the shop is already confusing... Haha.

The Picture is taken from my brother's blog:

Do you crave for it after looking at those pictures? Well, the reality is TOTALLY different! In fact, they scoop a bit of the ice cream from the tub, and mix it with nuts, cakes, or fruits depending on which flavour you choose. E.g Nuts Caramel Cappuccino : A scoop of Brown Espresso Ice Cream, added with bits of nuts, caramel and fresh cream. Then the next moment, you will see the ice cream and the ingredients are "squashed" and "pressed" in order for them to mix well together... Unfortunately, we didn't take a picture on the actual thing... It is really far from what you see in the pictures... The taste is also not very good either...

The price is also horrendous.
Junior (80ml) - S$4.90
Regular (100ml) - S$6.20
Large (180ml) - S$8.80
With additional $1 for waffle cone/cup or $1.50 for chocolate waffle cone/cup.

Imagine the Regular Size is equivalent to one scoop, so now can you imagine what is Junior Size like?
