It was another sleepless night even though I changed my sleeping area to the bed above. But i snoozed the clock and continued lying on the bed. And because I woke up later, the guys became late this time. The girls went down to Romeo & Juliet first.
The ship will only touch down at Phuket on the afternoon, so decide to skip lunch and have a heavy breakfast instead. I then ordered two main course for my breakfast. Smoked Salmon Omelette and America Classic Breakfast. Yup, to satisfy my eggs craving once more.
It was a lazy morning after that. We had nothing much to do, so we decided to go OTOT (Own Time Own Target - A military term of just do whatever you want). Jaclyn and I then to take a look at the cupcake decoration demonstration. The rest joined back and we went to take a walk in the shopping district.
It was another OTOT and the others chose to go back to sleep, and some gambled within themselves. While I went up to the upper deck to take more pictures and eventually went to sun tanning again! This time, I went with Tingting and started chatting random stuff. Then she spotted one hunk and kept admiring at him. Beside him, standing one sexy lady and I believe was that hunk's girl. Her figure was so well-shaped, but pity was flat. Hehe. But the couple turned out to be one of the performers for the final night.

Tender Ticket
I was later picked to get Tender Tickets. We all picked out cards and the one with the smallest card have to go collect the tickets on their behalf. Talking about luck...
The Tender tickets are required for us to disembark for shore trip. Tenders are small boats that will get us onto the shore of Phuket. Apparently the seas near the shore were to shallow for the ship to dock, so we had to take extra procedure to get on shore. As a fellow Kiasu Singaporean, I got ourselves the first boat to get out the ship. However, we still need to wait for an hour to get onto the shore finally, which left us only 5 hours to do what we suppose to do. Soon, we found ourselves in Patong Beach.

Patong Beach, Phuket
Well, Phuket was not as beautiful as I expected. Sadly to say. Perhaps we landed on the wrong area. I always thought the sea are beautiful and clear. But it was just as normal as Singapore beaches. Furthermore, I was surprised to see that Westerners filled almost 80% of the whole area. I thought I came on to a rather rundown America, and most male seen over there just walked around the streets topless.
I was clueless as to what we can do on a foreign island. It was my first time on a foreign land since like centuries ago. I would not say anything but to just go along with those more experience ones. But I did expect many people would stand near the wharf and "welcome" us with really huge open arms. More importantly to pull customers so that they have more earnings for the day. We had one quite eager and sincere to drive us around and only to charge each of us $100 Baht. And we just agreed.

Elephant Trekking
First stop was Elephant Trekking. The written cost was $800Baht (SGD$40)!!! But there is always room of bargain till it cost $500Baht. Still expensive I would say, but can't be helped since this activity is meant to be a tourist attraction. And the definition of tourist attraction is... EXPENSIVE. So I will just let it pass. One elephant could only carry 2 people, so I went to sit alone. The girls were so afraid to step up on top of the elephant. Haha, so typical. The ride was bumpy with me alone, and I was swaying one side to another. Along the trail, we could see so many elephant shits. Literally. Halfway through, The person in charge of Ann Soon and Huishan actually offered Ann Soon to sit on top of the elephant's head, and helped them take photos! My journey was quiet all the way...

Tomyum Soup at Luk Lay Seafood
Next stop was an early dinner at around 5pm. Gosh, so much time has passed already?! We had an outdoor dinner at some rather secluded area. We were the only customers! We just went ordering and ordering... Even though we ordered quite many seafood stuff, it still cost around SGD$14 for each person! Wow, I was actually drooling when I typed until this part. The Tomyum was definitely awesome. Not to mention, the Thai Milk Tea was nice too! But the Green Curry was a bit disappointing. The most irritating thing was that the place was mosquito infested! I was busying eating my food and killing mosquitoes at the same time. I'm not sure if I had killed too many and the others wanted to seek revenge or my blood was too damn tasty, the mosquitoes just kept attacking me! In the end, I were somewhat protecting my friends from the mosquitoes, and they were barely bitten by them. Nevertheless, the food there still taste great.

O Top Shopping District
It was another long trip back to Patong Beach. Most of us were concussed in the van. It was our last ride in the van since we wanted to do some shopping before going back to the ship. We paid our driver with some tips for him and bid goodbyes. The shopping there was absolutely nothing! Disappointed. This was the word I kept telling myself as I walked to more stalls, because all the stalls are selling the same thing! Moreover, the shirt sold there are always oversize to suit those Ang Mohs in the area. Feeling emo, after changing so much bahts and ended up to waste. When we reached a massage parlour, I thought I could finally relax and have someone to really massage my back. Even worse, there are not enough staff there to massage all 7 people. Even some of us backed out, there are some last minute customers who got served first, as a result, they could only massage 2 people. Screwing my mood even more...
We went to the nearest convenience store and supermarket to get some candies and chewing gums. I were god damn frustrated at that time. I just grabbed whatever I see worth buying. In the end, I carried a bag of candies and chewing gums, and instant thai milk tea. Just nice, it was time for us to get back to the ship.
It took some delay of our tender to get back to the cruise. And when we finally abled to get back on to the cruise, I saw many typical Singaporeans kept shouting and complaining to the captains. Felt so ashamed at that time.
Finally, we were on time to watch another performance by the usual crew performers before going for supper on the upper deck on the outdoor swimming pool. After taking the food, we isolated ourselves into the indoor swimming pool and enjoyed the aircon inside since one whole day in Phuket made us so sticky. We played some games of passing messages by drawing behind each other back to guess what is the first person trying to draw. Surprisingly funny session.
