The End of the Second Week of December 11

BEWARE: This is another awfully long entry.

It seems this week went a lot faster than the previous week. But the progress of the artist test that I'm supposed to complete for the application to the summer programme isn't going well.

Monday:
Had a Tim Sum Buffet with Yi Sheng, Joel, Russell and Jiunn Kai in Swatow Seafood Restaurant in Toa Payoh. At the start, we could get a lot of food since we were sitting very near to the kitchen. But somewhere in the middle of the course, an idiotic Foreign Waitress took over the distributing of the food. She always skipped four tables (that included us), made the four groups very angry. Our tables were empty most of the times and she still did not serve us! Some of us lodged complaints and the boss-looking guy went to remind her about serving us. The boss was not even shouting or reprimanded her in a harsh tone, but she just gave us an irritated face. The boss could just jolly well fire her seriously.

Joel had to go back to study after that. The rest of us went to had a spin in Jiunn Kai's family car. Later I suggested to try the Legendary 老伴豆花. It was around 7pm when we reached the Old Airport Road, and it was regrettably closed. So we had another spin and finally decided to have the last day offer in Starbucks in Kallang Leisure Mall. We gossiped and chatted from 8pm until the store closes at 11pm.

Wednesday:
I went down to Orchard early evening. The first time stepping in there since the exams were over. Jingyi and Ruixian were somewhere buying birthday present for Soo Ming. I helped them look around for balloon for the belated birthday girl in Orchard Central. Such a big shopping mall, okay not very big in fact, and I could not find any florist! I looked from Level 1 to Level 8 and found nothing. There was no use looking above Level 8 as they were all restaurants. In the end, the only pathetic looking florist was hidden in Level B2!!! The worst was there were not many balloons. So I met up with the gals and were brought over to the Centrepoint to get it from the balloon professional shop! They really sell any kind of balloons you want! We then went to meet the couple, Soo Ming and Clement back in OC.

We had a meal in Medz where I was introduced to this Rosti Potato. (Yes, I never knew what is Rosti until now. Readers can laugh if you want. Haha.) I had the Rosti and a humongous sandwich which costed me $16. I haven accounted for the hundred bucks present which was shared among 5 people. Ruixian left shortly after the meal, the rest of us went to Playnation to have some 2 hours of Wii time. Soo Ming treated us this playtime. Wow, touched.

Jingyi having another clubbing time with her other friends, so we accompanied her to Orchard before she parted with us. I walked around with the couple in the ION Orchard for a short while before we finally decided to go home.

Friday:
It was an impromptu night out with Luvena and Fang Qi. I could only meet them after my dinner at home. We had a Hong Kong comedy movie, East meets West 2011 at Century Square. The cinema theatre was pathetic actually. Initially, we thought we were the only ones that made up the audience members. But there were 3 more couples. Halfway through the movie, one couple left, the other two did not expressed any signs of interest to the movie, and Luvena fell asleep. Only Fang Qi and I were the ones laughing all the way.

Saturday:
It was a relative outing down at the Orchid Bowl in Yishun Safra Club. Yes. I'm having a bowling session with my cousins. The timing was awfully weird to bowl at a dinner time which began at 6pm and it lasted till 9pm. As all of us did not have any dinner beforehand, we bought some snacks while playing. We all had our dinner at 10pm with their parents.

Sunday (Today):
I had a morning cycling with Luvena and Fang Qi at SunPlaza Park. Immediately, once we had rented our bikes, rain began to pour. But luckily, the rain went on and off for a few minutes, we could still cycle without getting completely drenched.

After getting home, my brother wanted to visit a warehouse sale down at Eunos. I went with him to look for the coffee shop that was used to shoot Already Famous. The two of us were stupidly excited when we found the place... Anyway, when we reached outside the warehouse complex, the rain started to pour again. But we could not reached the main entrance in time when we were running to it. So we were completely drenched terribly... What a day.

Tuesday:
This was the only day I worked on my artist test. But the progress was not good. There was no inspiration or whatsoever... I had some time to work on it during the rest of the days, but I procrastinated... Sigh.

Another week, gone. Two weeks plus more for me to complete the artist test......!
