Last Monday was Yang's Birthday, so he asked Yoyo to call for a dinner outing. Yoyo invited Ming Jie and me along, but Mr.MJ is well known for being busy entertaining his girls, so he declined immediately. Considering that it has been such a long time since I last saw them, plus I have a bit of time to spare. I went for it. The meeting place was at the location famous for steamboat buffet: Bugis.
Yoyo made a reservation at "Xian de Lai Shanghai Cuisine". Literally, it means that you have to come because it is fresh. Whatever...
Anyway, I reached the place and Yang, Yoyo, Eddy, Heng and Lek were already there. While we still waiting for Larry, Andy and Desmond to come, we already took some food and got started. The place was damn crammed. I was practically forced to a corner and would not be able to get out once seated. So I went to get some food for myself.
While I was helping myself with the sauces and spices corner. I took some sauce bowl from the corner. To my horror, there were SEVERAL cockroach babies poured out of the bowl under it!!! I exclaimed loudly, but no waiter or waitress were within my vicinity... So I just forget about it, and went back to my seat, thinking that I will not patronise this disgusting place ever again.
It was quite nostalgic to hear their conversation again. Always talk some trivial stuff and end up talking aggressively and laughing loudly. From their conversation, I realised everyone has became EX-Fearless ship crew. Almost half of them have already ORD, while the others have posted to other ships.
Heng was still as childish as ever. He even attempted to throw leftover food into some corner and hide them. Yang was the usual one too. He forced me to go some kind of place again. Lek secretly taught me some moves for me to disappear without being notice. Haha. In the end, I was safe again. Need to take precautions again if I ever go out with Yang. Haha.
