And just when I have said that there is nothing interesting happening in my school... The interesting thing happened just the following day!
It was the time when Russell and I was attending our maths tutorial. Typically, we would find a foreigner tutoring the class. And yes, we saw one... BUT! He was leaving! Beside him was a guy hiding in a corner, trying to start up the computer in the tutorial room. I sensed a very strange vibe from that guy, because that guy doesn't look like a tutor with his "Ah Beng" look. He finally stood up, and started uttering his first sentence from his mouth. "Does this tutorial required to take attendance?" --in a comical way. Obviously, he did not know the rules of the tutorial. Well, neither do all of us! We were all perplexed and most of us just shugged our shoulders or shook our heads. Naturally, he took that actions as a "No". He just continued ask some more questions about the tutorial and those questions were all things that a tutor should be the first to know and not the other way round... I was amazed by that tutor.
There you have it, my third Singaporean tutor in my uni course. The first one, was a guy who tried his best effort to conduct lessons and helped each of us - Still not bad. The second one, who turned out to be my brother's army buddy for a short period of time, was quite a slacker and sometimes clueless about the answers given to him. Now, this guy, he is a funny one, he's just copying down the answer from the copy he was given, and only has a bit of idea what is going on. Why they have to be like this?! But that guy was approachable though... And kind of giving me the courage to be a tutor like him! Haha.
