It was Song Guan's birthday party yesterday at Aranda Country Club. Yup, the same place where Pok Yen held his too just a month ago. I helped Yvonne carried the party necessities over to his chalet, along with Luvena. I really wondered what kind of stuff is she bringing over that make her bags so heavy... Song Guan was late... We ate something at Hei Sushi while waiting for him.
Ok, we got into the chalet and we must start decorating quickly before his guests comes! After pumping the balloons, we then decided to discard whatever ideas we had in mind during the previous meetings... Haha. I just went on to decorate the way whatever my instincts told me. Luvena cut out the words and pasted it on a sheet of net. However, the scotch tape doesn't go well with the net, so either the words keep dropping from the net, or the whole net just fell off from the wall... Yi Sheng and Russell also came down early to help.
After a few guests have arrived, we decided to have some cam-whoring! Then, the mysterious thing that is hiding in one of the Yvonne's heavy bags finally revealed itself! The Sony Instant Photo Printer! It is the first I see one of my friends owning such things. Song Guan wanted to take photo with each and one of us and pasted the photos on his autograph book, and wanted us to write wishes for him.
More and more people arrived, and his SCDF people actually brought the whole XBox Rock Band Set over!!! Then, most of the guests just turned their attention to the game... For most of the TPJC gang, we sat down in the bedroom and chat. Some of his SCDF people also went on playing Mahjong too. Sze Yuan was one of few people who came the latest. Haha, can't be helped since he came down directly from Malaysia.
The usual Singing Happy Birthday Song soon commenced after Sze Yuan's arrival. Then comes the usual group photo taking. Ok, PRSS 4E2, PRSS 2E5, TPJC people, NPCC, Chinese Electronic Project Group, Shandong Group, SCDF... The different group combinations just couldn't stop... Haha. He should just worried about his eyes being dazzled by all the flashlights from the cameras. Haha.
Peer Pressure just came down to me. Initially, I didn't want to stay over because I have just recovered from fever that morning and thought staying over would only worsen my condition, and probably spread to others too... Most people who are staying over were like psycho-ing me to stay... After much considerations... I decided to stay... But I can't really push myself into a really high mood that night.
The people who stayed over were me, Eugene, Chaur Lee, Yvonne, Luvena, Yi Sheng, Pok Yen (Last minute to agree to stay), Sze Yuan and Hui Xin (Who claimed that she would not stay over, but in the end she played until morning). We were playing mahjong, but Sze Yuan and Pok Yen are not familiar with the game, so they are very fortunate to have Hui Xin, Yvonne and Luvena to coach them when playing. Hui Xin, Chaur Lee and Eugene just kept playing Rock Band for the whole while before I went to sleep. They are so well-practised, I think they could even form their own band! Haha.
How I wished I can stay awake throughout the night, but I have to get some rest (at around 3.10am)... When I woke up (around 7.40am) the Mahjong people are STILL playing, but the Rock Band (except Hui Xin who went on playing Mahjong instead) have already fallen asleep. Soon, everyone started to pack up and I left with Yvonne and Luvena...
