It was a tiring day as I have done 2 duties straight without a one day break in between. I can't complained since I volunteered to do so in return for some money. Ok, that sounded weird.
Right after my duty on Thursday, I quickly rushed back to the Base for a Squadron Sharing Session. I met some of my Batchboys: Kai Yan, Darrell and Shaun Pang. It was a natural reaction to ask Kai Yan where is Alvin (Since they both on the same ship) and Shaun where is Wee Khiang (And they both on the same ship too). Alvin encountered some family problems and had to rush home. However, Shaun answered me "Wee Khiang died liao" in an irritable way, and continued to flirt with his favourite Iris. Eww!!!
I was sitting beside Kai Yan, while Iris and Shaun sat behind us. It was so distracting on how Iris and Shaun flirted, and luckily they sat behind us and not in front! If it was otherwise, I think I will vomit! Iris is Wee Khiang and Shaun Department Chief, or is Wee Khiang's team direct chief while Shaun's team chief is another guy called Ivan. However, Iris dotes on Shaun incredibly more than on Wee Khiang, or rather she does not dotes on him at all. She even called Shaun his "My Baby"! It will definitely make your hair stand! It is not surprising that Shaun has that kind of name since he already behaves like one!
During the session, the presenters were talking about some technical stuff and they prompted people who do not understand to ask questions. Of course, Shaun does not know anything, even the basic knowledge, and Iris said it's ok for him to not know anything! There was one time when we are required to copy down some notes, and Iris actually copied instead of him! Iris said that: "Never mind, I copy and you can continue drawing your coconut tree." Kai Yan and I were really disgusted by the both of them...
Evening, I arranged another gathering with MSG Eva for those who missed the last month one. Again, everyone is late. And again, MSG Eva is the most punctual one. I waited those who will be late slightly, Kai Yan and Wee Khiang before going to the meeting point, Orchard Swensens. After a while, those very-late-guys came, Cheong Guan, Ming Jie, Potato and Jiun Yan. I came straight to the point when talking to Wee Khiang and I told him everything that happened in the morning. Wee Khiang told us he was helping Shaun with him duty because he claimed that he was tired and not feel like doing so. In such situation, people could simply just reject him. However, it is difficult for Wee Khiang's case since Iris is on Shaun's side and is his direct chief... Wee Khiang just cannot say "NO". Imagine how much he had suffered just because of that Baby! Yet, Shaun told us that Wee Khiang is died when we saw him. Poor Khiang Khiang! And yet, I feel so useless that I cannot help my buddy!
After that, it is another endless chat about our job with MSG Eva, and is another good chance for Ming Jie to talk bad about everyone! Every now and then, I will just peeped out to see the queue outside since we sat beside the entrance, and the queue just would not reduce! It really makes me wonder what makes Swensens so attractive? We sat and chat there for around 2 hours before we all head home via MRT.
After planning so many CSC Gatherings, I wonder if there is a stop after we ORD? And if I stop planning, will we continue to stay in touch?
