A Fateful Morning

Today is a short working day for us to take a break because of the tiring routine that we suffered 2 days ago. We are required to meet up at the McDonalds at the East Coast Park, and so I took Ah Bao's car to the destination. Surprisingly, we also saw other Navy people crowding inside McDonalds too. It seemed that the other ship crews are having their cohesion day. Colin happened to be one of the crew! It's been such a long time since he left for his course. I can see he really miss a lot of people, and I felt quite bad as I never called him for months, and keep concentrating on going out with my CSC class people. It's time to call out other Navy friends from our Junior Course.

Colin talked about Alvin Koh, saying that he bought him a birthday present, but Alvin has not been free and obviously not knowing that Colin has already bought him a present. Colin told me he is trying to avoid him. Alvin's birthday falls on Feburary and till now Colin has not given his present out. Imagine how long he has been keeping it. I hope he could give his present out, so I hope I could help him to call Alvin out sometimes and maybe some of the Justice class members along. I tried calling Alvin today, but when I mentioned Colin, he quickly gave me "I will be very busy this month" kind of reply. What really happened to both of them? I wonder.

After a short chat, my colleagues decided to start their sports activities and we followed the organiser to the street soccer and basketball courts down at the neighbourhood which is across the road from East Coast Park. Intially, I have no intention of playing anything, other than the phobia and hate I have towards soccer, I will feel very inferior when I play with skillful basketball players. Then, Guofeng and one of my chiefs called to me play with them using the other half of the court. I thought it was not too bad, and so I joined them. Shortly after, 3 more people joined in and we played 3 0n 3, and obviously my team has lost terribly. But it was fun playing with not-so-skillful players as we are all on the same standards. Haha.
