The Gang with the Usual Routine: Prologue

Yesterday, I went with another group of friends. It is the group of friends that I will always show my lameness to. Fang Qi wanted to go city to look for a new phone since her current one is retiring, so I met Derek and her early and went to Suntec to look around. In the end, we stopped by the Harris Bookstore to for my birthday present. During the last meeting, I already hinted them that I wish to have some storybooks for my present. I have been wanting to get a storybook myself, but I have no idea which are the good books, and I thought Fang Qi and Derek will have a better recommendation, so I hinted them to get some books for me since my birthday is just around the corner. Haha.

As I am browsing through the books they recommended, someone approached me. It was Cheong Guan, and he was purchasing some stationeries for his administative work on the other ship. I told him that he could indent for those things, but he said it takes time and he will be needing them quite urgently. Lucky for him, his schedule for this month will not be as tough as ours.

We continued to look for my books, and I chose 2 books. Next, we went on look for cellphones and it happened to have a show down at the lobby of the tower. However, we didn't realise so much time had passed and we missed the time we are supposed to meet Luvena. She called Fang Qi and me, but both of us were "senseless", we couldn't feel our phone vibrating. We quickly rushed down to Bugis to meet her. And of course, we got a scolding from her...

The girls decided to do some shopping in BHG, then Derek and I went around the Bugis Junction. We then settled down at the Siam Kitchen for dinner. I had Stir-Fry Beef Rice, Luvena had Tom Yum Glass Noodles, Derek had Chicken Chop Rice, and Fang Qi had Green Curry Fried Rice. When we were quite unsatisfied with our meal, the dessert that Luvena had ordered came and we forgotten all about our main courses. Lol.

After our meal, we went back to Tampines and bought some snacks before heading towards Derek's house for a mahjong session. It was 9.00pm back then, and we only played for a couple of hours. We also played a few rounds of Big Two before we called it a day. It was rather late when everyone was tired. Luckily, we had a new chauffer Derek to drive us home. Haha. But he forgot to turn on the headlights when we drove out of the carpark... His father still need to call to remind him (How does he father knows that Derek wasn't turing the headlight on in the first place?). What a day... But I really enjoyed myself when I was going out with my friends these few days. Thanks Guys!

Now, just another half day, I will need to face my boring job... T_T
