Today is a special day as Wee Khiang finally is free to meet us for an outing, so he asked me to plan out an outing. At first, he said to meet early afternoon, but later this morning he have to help his relatives to do some stuff, and so he postponed to late afternoon. What a family guy!
My initial plan was to watch a movie and then have a dinner in NYDC since Wee Khiang wished to see who the waitress Meng Yong "hooked" up with. But the last minute change did not really affect my plan. I still met up with Ming Jie and Alvin Koh as planned. Meng Yong and Wee Khiang will meet us later. We went to Food Junction in Bugis Junction to have our lunch first. All of us had Omu Rice (Omlette Rice) for our lunch and bought Bubble Tea from Sweetalk. Next, we headed down to the ticket office to get our movie tickets. In the morning, I checked that the movie that suited our time is Indiana Jones, but I misread the movie title and thought was Prince Caspain. It was our turn to purchase the tickets when I realised it. I quickly SMSed Meng Yong and Wee Khiang hoping that they have not watched it. In the end, Meng Yong replied that he have watched it and added that it was boring... after we had bought them... Too late... Everything was too late.
To compensate, I decided to treat him to the movie that he have watched. In return, he treated me a meal at Pastamania, the place where we decided to have our dinner. The inital plan for dining in NYDC is cancelled because the waitress is not there. Haha. It's been a really long time since I dine in Pastamania, because previously I had dine in 2 times and their pastas are extremely disappointing. This time, I think the food quality has improved. I was satisfied with the meal.
After dinner, Alvin went off first, claiming that he has to meet other friends, but he sounded quite suspicious. We even thought of following him! Meng Yong wanted to shop for bags, and so we went to Bugis Street, but nothing catches his eyes. After strolling one round through the Bugis Street and the Albert OG Complex, Ming Jie suggested to sit down and play "Bridge". He bought a set of cards from 7-Eleven and we settled down at the nearest MacDonalds to start our game. I bought the Onion Rings and Spicy McNugget and we got our money cheated!!! The Onion Rings are just mere 5 hollow rings with dried up onions... And that costs $3.05!!! Outrageous!!! The nuggets are not very nice either... Ignoring those petty bits of food, we continue our game and we really enjoyed ourselves that night.

Icy Present!
Today, I met up with Ming Jie at Bishan Interchange to buy some presents for our Boss. First, we need to fill our stomach and we settled down at Crystal Jade Kitchen for our lunch. He ordered Wanton noodles (which is the world's heaviest noodles ever because it weighs one ton...!), and I ordered Prawn dumplings noodles, and another bowl of congee to be shared between the 2 of us. The noodles are so Q, and the prawns taste extremely fresh as you could taste the crunchiness when you take a bite! As for the congee, you could taste as if it was cooked with super high class soup base. Just one spoonful and you could feel all sorts of wonderful flavours enriching your taste buds. Haha. Really enjoyed my first meal at Crystal Jade.
Next, we took a bus to an Ice Cream Parlour situated at a rather weird place. The parlour called Icekimo! (Isn't that name sounds cute?) You would not identify the shop right away because the building where the shop is located is under renovation, so you will think that the shop has closed down. You need to step into the "Under Construction" building to find the ice cream parlour.
The shop is amazingly cold. It is really a good spot to rest especially in such a hot weather season. The parlour offers many creative flavours of ice cream such as Horlick Maltese and Teh Tarik. I tried the Horlick flavour and it really tastes great! It is not too sweet, tastes just right, so you would not feel sick after taking a few bites. There are also a variety of desserts such as waffle ice cream, crepe ice cream, ice cream cakes, and spaghetti made of ice cream! The environment is also very situable for studying. So students can show support to the shop more often!
I called up to reserve Cempadak (Jackfruit) ice cream yesterday, and I collected it right after I finished my dessert. The tub is actually made up of styrofoam! How thoughtful! People will not be so worried if the ice cream will melt on their way back, since that material can keep heat away from the ice cream! The ice cream will be the present we prepared for our boss since I heard Yang saying that he used to be called Cempedak. Haha.
We headed back Bishan immediately to buy a small cake for him. Then, we also thinking of buying him a Garfield!!! But I couldn't find it anywhere at Tampines, there are only Pooh Bears all over... But still hope our Boss will like the ice cream...

New NDS Games Coming Soon!!!

This year, 3 more highly anticipated NDS games will be released towards the end of the year. Why is it "highly anticipated"?
It is because:
1. is a spinoff of a highly popular game from Gyakuten Saiban Series
2. is another installment for Castlevania Series
3. is the sequel to the current Ryuusei no Rockman Series.
However, since they are originated from Japan, they will be released in Japanese Language first...
No current updates for Gyakuten Kenji and Ryuusei no Rockman 3 yet. But as for the new installment for Castlevania, the main character will be a female named Shanoa, and the English title is confirmed as Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. The story takes place events after Castlevania: Symphony of the Night when Ritcher Belmont had disappeared, leaving no one to fight against the Dracula. That is when Shanoa steps in and set things right.

A Trip Back to TPJC... Day 2
This morning, I met up with Sabrina and Pok Yen outside Pasir Ris Secondary School, hoping to visit the teachers. However, we are stopped by the security guards, saying that no visitors are allowed unless for official business, as instructed by the DM!!! Moreover, the guard said that we WERE the students from this school, now we are not and we do not belong to the school anymore!!! So does that mean if we immigrate to another country and we are not allowed to Singapore anymore??? Ridiculous!!! The attitude of the security guard is really sickening, I really feel like punching him right on the face!!!
Pok Yen tried to call Mrs Chua to confirm with the facts, and the truth is the school is quite busy right now, and she heard that the rule was set just 2 days ago. Then I realised the school has just finished conducting their exams and maybe they didn't want us to disturb teachers marking and tabulating the marks. If the instructions were passed down to the guards in this manner, we will still try to understand. But just give some bloody hell attitude to chase us away. Hope that DM still know what he is doing the school!!!
Mrs Chua then told us next time we are required to arrange with the teachers we wanted to meet before hand. Personally, I thought it defeats the purpose because visiting teachers without informing them would not be a surprise. And we could even just call up to chat, why even bother to come up personally to the school to look for them???
It was raining heavily at that time... We just have to wait the rainfall to become smaller before we moved on back to TPJC. Finally, we got back TPJC and security guards there glady let us in as we said we are back to help with the College Day. Haha. We had our lunch there, and Mrs Foong saw us again, saying that we are really free. Not only her, other teachers we have seen on Monday all referred us as "Really Free". We happened to meet the TPJC teacher counsellor, who also known as the ex-teacher from PRSS, Mrs Tan, and Pok Yen told her everything that had happened this morning. Hope that every teacher in PRSS would know what happened to us.
3 of us spent our time loitering around the whole campus, literally. But we realised the school was expectionally quiet for a Wednesday afternoon, and especially when the College Day is happening on this Saturday, there will be surely a rehearsal going on. True enough, quite a lot of people already gathered a the auditorium for rehearsal. Then, Pok Yen is going to help out with his Drama, while Sabrina and me head home first.
