The world is constantly filled with darkness, I know. A kind of darkness that never end, because humans just keep spreading it. There are people who said that "Life has to go on". Does this means that people will just have to adapt to the Darkness? Or find ways to stop the Darkness from engulfing this world?
Most people will choose the first option. These people will think they do not have the power to stop it, so they just let the Darkness be part of their lives and continue to live in a way that they think they are living happily. So then again, does that mean that they have become the Dark Ones? I think, the answer is, Yes. Since they have chosen the lives of Darkness, they have already shaked hands with them unknowingly and spread this ideology further to other parts of the world.
People who choose the second option will be the ones that are constantly fighting with the Darkness. To be able to fight them, they must be able to produce the Light. But of course, a Light bright and strong enough to vanquish it. One must also realise that once they are engaged in this fight, they can never retire from it. It is a difficult but great battle in order to maintain the Balance in the world. However, most people will also get exhausted from the battle since it is neverending. When they realised they have ran out of the Light, most will also concede to take on the first option, and that is why first option is a popular choice.
There are also people who chose the third option: To escape from the Darkness, and hope that others will come and give them the light. It is only true to a certain extent. These people can escape, but the Darkness just spreads to every corner in the world. Even they think that they are safe in some particular areas, it is just a matter of time for it to conquer them. There are also some kind of Darkness that even the strongest Light from other people is not able to help you, you have to learn that you have to emit your own light to fight it. In fact, there is Light in everyone. It is just a matter of what kind and how strong your intensity of Light you have. People who chose first option are allowing Darkness to swallow their Light. People choosing third option are just merely prolonging the time it takes to reach their Light. Both, in the end, will still taint in Darkness.
Balance, is extremely important to this world. It is because of this word, this world will have ups and downs, good and bad, tall and short, easy and hard, soft and tough, and most importantly, this second option for people to embrace and fight the Darkness. Yes, indeed, we need more people to choose the second option. But we must know that it takes more than courage to do it. You must also have the wits and power to do it, especially in this era...
This world is getting more and more uglier. But "Life has to go on", which option will you choose?
Me? The first option, of course! Haha...

Befriending with His Family
I was abandoned by Ming Jie and Guofeng, who both decided not to go Ken's birthday chalet. Well, at least, Ming Jie had a reason that sounded reasonable, while Guofeng just stated that "he don't think that he will come for it". Nice Try. But I still went down to Ken's chalet.
It was held yesterday night. Not many of his friends had arrived. I went in and gave him my present and Ken introduced his family to me. Then, I sat down and had some food. A few minutes later, Siva (Ken's department senior in Navy) came and greeted a few words and went off. He didn't go far, because his family was celebrating birthday too, and his chalet is just opposite Ken's! I joined his family for BBQ since I have nothing to do there, Ken was busying interacting with his guests. I was asked to join BBQ by his 舅母, so I went in and interacted with her and his sister Jasmine and his sis boyfriend.
After a while, Ken came to me with a bunch of satays. Well, it's uncooked. And of course, I have to cook for him... More of his friends came and he was busying entertaining them, and I was busying interacting with his family. Jasmine kept giving me all the good BBQ food they had. Haha, so nice of her. Ken's mum (who went for an evening swim shortly after I came) came back and also talked with me. His family are very funny people and very approachable. Haha. And Ken kept ordering stuff from me...
Finally, the cake cutting session, and also the photo taking session. I began to wonder which group should I join to take photo with him? I don't belong to any of the group!! There was no choice, and I took with his fellow Navy Gunner batchboys. Sigh. Extremely odd to take with them... Before that, I thought of not taking any pictures, but his mum insisted, so I told her I don't belong to any group. Then, his mum shouted across the whole chalet about me!!! Sigh...
After the photo taking, his mum and Jasmine cut the cakes, but Ken did not come and distribute it. In just a few moment, the whole table was filled with plates of cakes. No one came to take it, so I helped Ken distribute it. Well, because I kept talking to and helping his family, so I didn't find weird when one of his friends came to me and asked whether I'm his friend...
His family then served me some fruits, and it was time for me to leave. I left with Jasmine, her boyfriend, Ken's 舅母 and his 舅母's daughter ( These 4 people are going for a walk since they are too full). They were also heading into Downtown East for a walk, so they "conveniently escorted" me to the bus stop. Haha. Nice knowing his family.

Outrageous!!!
I went jogging with the usual people this morning. We started off at the same point, that is TPJC and ran into the street where the HDB Blocks 400+ are, and ran into Sun Plaza Park this time round instead of running into Blocks 800+ and then into the Tampines Stadium.
*Note: Sun Plaza Park is the one in Tampines, which is located opposite Tampines Regional Library. Don't be mistaken it to be situated at Sembawang just because the shopping mall there is called Sun Plaza Mall. Haha.
We ran 4 rounds around the park. During our 3rd round, Song Guan saw a familiar person from the back, and it turned out to be Cheng Xiang! Long time never seen him since we graduated from Secondary School. He went to Meridian JC, so we never met until today. Glad he still remember me. Haha. He is still the same old guy I knew back then. He ORDed on January and have not found a job since then, so he just kill time by having morning stroll in the park everyday. Look's like we can find another person to chat if we want to find him. Haha.
We walked to McDonalds for our usual brunch. However, we went to the one located in Tampines East Community Centre. Yesterday, I saw from the coupon stating that there is a $2.50 breakfast meal, with the usual Sausage McMuffin and a premium McCafe coffee. At first, I thought the advertisement gave me an impression that this means you just have to pay additional 50 cents to upgrade your drink to one of the 3 premium coffees (Long Black, Mocha and Latte). However, it is not the case.
The actual thing is that the $2 breakfast meal is NO MORE! The price has RISEN to $2.50! They claimed that the coffee standard has rose, so does the price of the whole set. But you still have to pay 50 cents more for Tea, and which the standard of it has not risen at all! Yi Sheng and Song Guan used to enjoy the set with Ice Milo which used to cost only $2.30, and now it has became $2.85! I also believed that the price of other Morning Set Meals have increased as well since they have made a new menu on the board. Outrageous!!! Now, we think that the $2 meal (which is now $2.50) is not worth the money, we rather go to coffee shop and have fried bee hoon instead. Haha.

Swim, Play and Drive
It has been around 2 or 3 weeks since I last swam. I foresaw that it would rain in the evening (since it is always the case that every evening it rains these days), so I decided to swim on the morning. But Yi Sheng SMSed the night before to call for a jog. In the end, he joined me in swimming instead.
As I expected, the morning sun was super hot, and I had a great swim. I swam for around 20 plus laps, while Yi Sheng swam exactly 40 laps! Then, we had lunch in Century Square Food Junction and headed to Fairprice to run an errand for my mum (She is a crazy loyal Fairprice customer, she can purchase things there at least twice per week).
In the afternoon, I rotted at home watching anime and surfed the web. Tired of computer stuff, I will turn to my DS to play the old games again. Then, when evening arrived, the dark clouds came as if they were rushing to send rain to my area. Heavy rainpour started around 6pm, and that was the time I suppose to learn driving!
My instructor came around 6.30pm, and the rain was still heavy. Too bad, still have to drive. I thought it would be bad since the roads are slippery. It turned out pretty fine. Haha, maybe I think too much. The rain started to get smaller when I drove to Pasir Ris area. It was my 9th lesson, and I drove to the usual carpark area and practised all the turning skills. Now, it was time for me to learn the 2nd last basic driving skill - 3 point turn. First, my instructor taught me reversing skill first. I must get the hang of that reversing before I can 'turn'. When I got the idea of reversing, I can finally try to 'turn', and I screwed up big time. Partially due to his blur explanation... I have to just try and let him point out my mistakes... Haha, if not I will just waste my time ask him to repeat the theory verbally and I still could not make out what he trying to say... I still have to say that 3 point turn is the most difficult skill!

Title Unknown 2 ~Just an Ordinary Day~
The last Basic Japanese Lesson ended on that particular afternoon. Still enjoyed Kuriyama-Sensei's lesson, but she never failed to tease me and Fang Qi as couple again... Sigh. I'm still pondering whether to continue Immediate Lesson from there or change to another Language School?
I went home after lesson and rest before meeting Luvena, Derek and Fang Qi (Again). My rest was actually playing my DS. Ever since, I have completed Tales of Hearts, I continued playing my old games: Pokemon Diamond and Castlevania Order of Ecclesia. Although, Conan and Kindaichi has been released, I cannot really play it mainly because it is in Japanese Language, and my computer is believed to has infested by trojan... Hence, I cannot transfer any data to any of my USB Devices... Like my iPod... Have to listen to old songs... Haha. Now, I aiming to catch all the Legendary Pokemons and trying to get all the hidden items in Castlevania.
I left the house with my brother, and he told me that I should concentrate on 3 things now.
1. Brush up my English
2. Read up on Java
3. Train for IPPT! My window is opening soon!
It is true since I have been idiling at home...
Ok, I had met up with them and we bought movie tickets for Suspect X, a movie for Japanese TV Drama - Galileo, a Detective Drama. One ticket costs $10! How come I watched movie at the Cathay last Sunday and it only costs $8? Anyway, we have less than an hour to have our dinner, and we went to the newly renovated Tampines Mall Kopitiam, and it seemed to have more crowds before it was renovated. Can imagine it used to be so bad that you hardly see any crowds even on weekends...
After our dinner, we got popcorn and drinks and went into the threatre. The movie ran for 2 hours and 30 mins! The small GV seats are making me uncomfortable but still the movie was great. However, I can't stand the popcorn. The popcorn just go soggy when it turns cold and not really all of them are sweet and crunchy. It is the usual standard for GV... Not like other cineplex... And there was also a part of the movie when I can't stand the audience...
The story progressed till where the accomplice of the killer turned in himself to the police in order to protect the real killer because he loved her (The real killer did not know that he loved her at first). The real killer came into the scene when her accomplice was being brought to the hearing and cried in front of him, and then both cried together... The atmosphere was like so sad, but there were some senseless audience who actually laughed at how the 2 characters cried, including the 2 ladies (Luvena and Fang Qi) sitting beside me...
Oh, suddenly feels like giving the movie a rating.
Rating: 5/5! Never regret if you are a Detective Freak like me!
After the movie, it was already 11pm and we just realised it was raining when we stepped out of the mall. We have to take bus home in the end.
