Today is the last day of work, and strangely, that is the day that I finally spoken with almost all the staff there. To me, I can say ALL the staff there are really nice people. Although I only known them for about 1 week plus, I think they are people with no hidden agendas. I'm sure Yvonne can work there happily.
Today Alvin and I have learnt a very valuable lesson. That is to remove any ink cartridges and waste toner bucket out from the printer if you are moving it from place to place. Today, the movers moved all the office necessities to the new address, and the staff can finally unpack and quickly settle down in this new environment. But to their horror, 3 people have their printer ink and waste toner bucket spilled. Luckily, there are plastic wrappers holding the spillage and Alvin and I can carry them to the toilet before carrying out the cleaning operation. Alvin is so smart to wear a black polo t-shirt today and so his shirt did not appeared dirty, while my yellow shirt is stained just after we cleaned the first printer.
The discovery of the spillages occured in 3 separate times: Morning, afternoon and evening. Alvin and me cleaned the first one which is the ink spillage incident. I was called to clean the powder spillage in the afternoon. But when we discovered the third in the evening, Alvin did not know the source of the spillage is from the waster toner bucket. He took it out overturned it! The powder then came pouring out! He was quick to push himself away from his hand which is holding that bucket and so he will not become "powderful". Haha. As a result, we have to clean the floor and the printer. I heard that the powder is poisonous, so let's hope that we all will not contract any diesease related to it.
Well, though last day is quite tiring, I still enjoyed working for them!

KA-CHA
No overtime today!!!
My contract is soon going to end, 2 weeks passed so fast. Working with Yvonne really brings back a lot of secondary school memories when we have time to sit down and chat. But Poor Alvin has to stand aside and listen to us. Sorry! We will still bring him into the conversation when we talked about JC times. Alvin and Yvonne can still chat a lot since they had their first 3 months in the same JC. As for me, I did not have the chance to try for it, or rather I did not fight for it. Still, like I always say, if I have not worked for that period, I will not have an iPod to accompany me throughout my boring studying period! Haha. My energy to keep me going.
Working with Alvin has also been very fun! We chat so much, and I felt so ashamed when he told me that he used to see me walking around the school before, and I told him I like to observe the people around me, and I just cannot recall seeing him in the school. Sorry!!! Again!!!
I have been recalling all my outings with my secondary and JC friends, and I realised the topic I always bring out are mostly the happy and sad moments during our school times. I really treasure the times we had together during that period, and I never thought that topic will get boring even if I talk about it so many times. =p Well, I have some friends who do not like schooling times, but if we want to talk about other topics, I will find difficulty thinking of another topic.
Today on our way home (Finally, a free shuttle bus ride home since we are not working OT.), Alvin and me are so exhausted after carrying so many boxes, and wanted to use the journey time to take a nap. I can't believe I really fell asleep on the bus considering that the seat is so uncomfortable. I was stuffing my ears with earphones when I fell asleep. I think I was dreaming for a while, when a sudden "KA-CHA!" made me recover my senses and I can hear the volume of the music slowly increasing back to the originally tuned loudness. I did not open my eyes to see, because I knew someone is trying to take pictures. Must be the sleeping pictures of Alvin and me. The culprit is none other than Yvonne.
I finally opened my eyes after hearing so many "KA-CHA!". She let me me those pictures and as expected, they all show how close our heads are when we are sleeping. Haha. Alvin was speechless.

Absent-Minded!!!
Absent-minded has been a terrible disease to me. A disease that can't be cured. Because of it, I have forgot a lot of things. Forget to bring. Forget to take. Forget to do.
This time, I've forgot to take my precious water bottle after my Japanese class. It is left under the classroom desk. Today, I make a trip back to there to take back the bottle (Actually, is not make a trip, since I will pass by there when I walk back home.). My course consultant, Gina asked why I have to collect it today and not the next lesson. She thought that I have bought a very expensive bottle. The actual reason is that it is a present from my fellow buddies! However, that classroom is being used since the time I called her this morning, she is unable to retrieve it for me. I reached there at 9pm. But I have to wait until 9.30pm for the last lesson to end. My tummy started to make noises as I have not had my dinner yet!!! Ever since, I working OT, I have been postponing my dinnertime. I know it is very unhealthy, but is just for 2 weeks! I need to work to have more money to spend on my driving lessons and many more... Sigh.
By collecting my bottle, I have further postponed my dinnertime. If I don't have the problem of absent-mindedness, I will not forget my bottle, and then postponed my dinnertime...

5x5 Rubik's Cube Solved!
Today on my way to my first day of work, I was riding on the MRT front cabin. I was playing my DS when a guy, around 30s, suddenly took out his unsolved 5x5 Rubik's cube. I thought he is just trying to find his own way to solve it since he is turning the cube unprofessionally. So I thought he will never able to solve it.
However, after 30 minutes, I saw he was on his last stage! He was getting all the colours into its place!!! With a few turns, he actually solved the puzzle right in front of my eyes!!! He stared at him with my mouth wide opened. The lady beside him saw me and she also gave me a surprised face.
This is the first time I saw someone solve a 5x5 cube, he must be a good mathematican!

Alcohol Again
More money is lost again yesterday. Sigh.
Yesterday night was the only night where I could gather all the CSC class together. Yup, that was only my thoughts actually. The only people who cannot make it at first were Alvin and Darrell who are busying with work and Family Day respectively, Darren who did not reply at all. Then, right after my Japanese class, I received SMSes saying one has to handle some family matters, one having fever, and MSG Eva is not free. Although I had the feeling that this would be the outcome, I still imagined that everyone would come.
I met up with Ming Jie and Jinqing first at Bugis instead of meeting at Somerset, the rendezvous point. Then, we walked one stupid round in the Bugis Junction before going to Somerset. I wondered why Ming Jie still asked me to meet him at Bugis? Kai Yan was already playing his PSP when we reached the meeting spot. Later, Wee Khiang and Meng Yong came. We went on to decide our dining spot before Potato arrives. No one really likes the restaurants on the top floor in Heerens, so we went down to the Basement Shokudo instead. We sat there for about an hour before we left for the next destination. I did not plan for any next destination since I thought it will be just a dinner with a large group of people. They decided on going pub, I agreed as long as it is not clubbing (But we are not properly attired for clubbing, so even they forced me to go, I can even go in! Haha.).
We followed Meng Yong who led by going across Dhoby Ghaut and then in a pub (I don't know its name) which is located beside Fort Canning Tunnel. However, it has a long queue of people waiting for seats. Therefore, they chose Brewerkz at Clarke Quay (Clarke Quay AGAIN!!!). They actually wanted to drink beer! My number 1 most hated alcoholic drink. They ordered a Tower and some of them actually wanted to finish one whole mug at one go! Why must alcoholic drinks be drink in such a way? Potato and Kai Yan were the ones who started first. As for me, I stared at the mug in front of me and did not even dare to touch it. But when I finally pick it up, I put down again as soon as I smell the "stench". I could not possibly drink that thing down! When I finally drink it by taking a small sip each time, the group of maniac beside starting to go nuts. I kept talking with Jinqing while Wee Khiang kept taking pictures.
Luckily, when I left half a mug to go, the maniac wanted to play some games, but they ran out of beer, so I "kindly" offered mine. Phew.
When the maniac finally settled down, it was time to go home. When I take a look on those maniac, "I have drank alcohol" lines all written over their faces. Potato who has drank 3 mugs at one go looked so dreadful, and requested us to take him home by cab. Kai Yan and I took him since we lived near each other. Fortunately, the taxi driver has prepared plastic bags on his cab, and Potato... He kept regretting and said that he should not drink so much at one go.
